Lourdes Internal Medicine Vestal

I have the most difficult time getting a prescription to be refilled in a timely manner and more importantly before running out. Because of the lack of communication with staff (the nurses answering are fantastic) and attention to when a patients prescription needs to be filled, I’ve gone without for several days on several occasions.

I recently had several very bad experiences at Lourdes in Chenango Bridge. I switched from Dr. K to Dr. Freeland for both myself and my quadriplegic adult daughter. I am very very pleased with all the staff and Dr. Freeland is just what we have needed in a primary care physician. She is knowledgeable and professional. She follows through with your needs. I feel safe with her for both myself and my daughter. I am so glad she was taking new patients. We choose this group because my husband, who in the past hasn't been great at his end of his medical care, now has been seeing a NP who has gotten him to work with her to care for himself. She's about my age (mid 60's) Dr. Floirini. Both doctors are top notch as well as nursing staff and front desk staff. It is refreshing to not have to be treated like you're interrupting their life to ask for an appointment or for the doctor not to prescribe meds that have bad interactions when ordered together or have no idea why you're there for an ER follow-up. Just nice to be seeing a real doctor NOT Barbie pretends to be a doctor. So now we have REAL MEDICAL coverage.
I love the fact there is so much right there in 1 building and parking is almost always near the door. The building is always clean unlike the rooms in Chenango Bridge. Just a very good place to go for medical care.

Edit: (3/11/2023) Sorry I haven't updated this review for a while but as you can already imagine they didn't solve a thing! It is a very simple problem but they can't even return to simple questions/comments about their work so think about the whole professional, experienced in the field, reasonable staff they have, including the providers!

edit: (12/23/2022) Still no action from them. Had I mentioned they are like a joke? Lol

edit: (12/20/2022) In the reply below they want me to call them for an opportunity to work towards a solution. As I already stated in my review, I did:) Multiple times! I called the hospital, doctor's office and even the billing company. I filled out the online form. Anyways, I filled the form again and also called them, let's see if they'll solve the issue now. I'll keep updating this review.

Check your bills everybody! I have not faced something like this in any other place or with any other visit!

They do some mess up with your diagnoses and if you're not careful, you may end up paying way more than what you should have.

Well, I did notice and contacted them, so far no response on that either. They are such a joke!
