Bistro Lovin' Cup reviews
20I love this place. Friendly and fast service. More importantly, great menu: works for a huge variety of tastes including all six people in my family. There’s classic bar food like burgers and fries. But also great healthy options like rice, veggie, and noodle bowls. Vegetarian friendly, too. And the offerings are all thoughtful and unique. Plus, a great vibe. We are from out of town and make a point of stopping here any time we are in Rochester.
The band was a little loud. Food was good and a great selection. Service was great. Plenty of parking.
$11 for a glass of wine is too much. Food was good. Entertainment was awesome. Lauren and Bob.
I was here for a meeting on a Thursday, and that was my first. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and decent food.
Anya and Adam are amazing.
Suggestion for improvement:
On Salsa nights, it is important to let guests be aware ahead of time they will pay a certain amount from the time Salsa lessons/event commences, even if they had been in the establishment before the commencement time.
While I think that creates an unpleasant customer experience, it does provide your clients the option to decide if they want to be a part of the event or not. Having your guests get embarrassed or hassled for a fee, when they have not been made aware of such arrangement is inappropriate.
In my opinion, the fee is reasonable, but hassling guests that are sat before the event, and aren't aware of such requirement, is unacceptable and unprofessional.
Communication is key.
Overall, good experience, but I strongly recommend this is looked into.
It's always a great time at Lovin Cup. The food is fresh, drinks are perfect, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating options and friendly, efficient service.
The food is pretty delicious here and the service is great too. I do recommend checking them out when you get a chance.
From the options I always chose Lovin Cup.
Food is always delicious, and the service and the place are all Likeable.
Got a beer at the bar went outside and drank it. It was nice sitting outside chatting with friends.
We stopped here for the first time and it was a nice little spot but extremely overpriced. We were shocked that the food was so basic and bland especially for the price. I may go back for a drink but even the beer is overpriced. I definitely would never go back for food!
First time experience at this establishment. Booked tickets for a national show event that was sold out. Called the day before the event because I thought it was first come, first serve. They kindly suggested reservations and placed us at a front row table - WOW! Anne, our waitress, was wonderful in making suggestions and keeping us attended to for the whole evening. Good all around experience. Was a little pricier than anticipated but overall a good night.
Coffee - Soooo good. One of the best coffees I have had in the US.
Large portion entree
Wings, Nachos are finger licking good.
Good spot right outside of the RIT campus. Decent variety of beers and great menu with the most creative dishes names you’ll ever see.
How where and why do you have my contact info? This is disturbing. Never did i give permission.
Love the vibe here. I alway enjoy their live music. Menu has good choices for vegetarians.
The shrimp on the "mexican" salad was so flavorless and rubbery. Just because it has corn and beans does not make it "mexican". Was also not impressed with open mic night, there were sound issues and it was way too loud for the size of this place, it's open mic at a small restaurant not a stadium concert. Asked for a local beer recommendation, or the most popular, and the waitress couldn't even think of one, and looked very confused as if it was a strange question to ask for a recommendation.
Great environment and service. I ordered a Tangled up in Blue salad with steak and it was very tasty. The portion was pretty large. Fries and smoothie was also really good. We’re definitely going back.
Great food, service, and atmosphere. I went there for an end-of-year celebration and casual networking event. There were two other groups celebrating that day. We ordered some entrees like the buffalo wings, sweet potato fries, nachos, pretzels with cheese, and cauliflower. I even took some home for later. There's a live stage right next to our seats and I heard great things about it. The atmosphere was vibrant and our waitress was very attentive and welcoming.
Service was as amazing as the food. If you haven't been there yet, you're missing out.
1st time visiting this cool bar/restaurant. Celebrated a friend's birthday and the food and service were great. Great live jazz in the spacious bar area. Out front of the Rochester Institute of Technology campus. Good spot! Lots of outdoor seating as well.
Haven't been in years, but went in for a work lunch and was pleasantly surprised. We were seated in a separate room in the back and I really enjoyed the decor and just the whole atmosphere of the Cafe. Only reason food is 4/5 is because my fries were cold, and a few other people were missing sides, dipping sauces, but nothing major and it was a large party so it's understandable. Staff was super friendly and they went above and beyond for everyone. I'll definitely be back, outside of work.:)
