Lower Eastside Harm Reduction reviews
6Love the staff I have worked with here. So helpful! And it's a safe place if you just need that. Can't say enough good About my therapist SAM ROLF! He is wonderful! Love.love.love this place for all the help they have provided!
Necessary evils. Really amazing place with great resources to help those in need!
Great harm reduction service, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. SUPPLY clean equipment for injecting drug users as well as health info, education and referrals. There is a medical van that attends once a week (maybe more) with nurses and doctor. You can get tested for.blood borne viruses access methadone treatment, get acupuncture, speak with a counselor and even get.your mail delivered there.
I have only been here as a volunteer, but I can fully support the work done by the Lower East Side Harm Reduction Center. If you need to use drugs responsibly, then this is the place to get help. On the other hand, if you are looking for a rewarding place to volunteer, this is a worthy place. We New Yorkers should be grateful non-profit organizations like the Lower East Side Harm Reduction center exist to help our neighbors and treat all humans with dignity and respect.
Simply just the best drop-in center probably ever been to.when it's unbearably cold outside and I'm in the area, believe it, I'm stoppin by to warm up and socialize with some of the good people here.
GREAT Syringe Exchange Program here as well
I worked there as a volunteer. The staffs members were very nice and they have done great service to the community and it’s most stigmatized and underserved population. They have the best positive mindset of helping the people who really needs them. The community outreach program blew my mind. They were featured in the MTA subways. I loved volunteering there.
