20We went through Lowe's in Ithaca to replace 1800 square feet if flooring. We ordered smartcore pro waterproof flooring. Our service person was Kori, she was wonderful, but unfortunately no longer worked there by the time our installation was scheduled. The flooring was lovely. When we went to pick it up, it took them over an hour to find our order & bring it out by forklift. The installation "team" was one guy. And when he was "finished" the flooring was fine, but the trim was awful! When I asked him about it he said to talk to his boss. It's now 3 weeks later.a work order was supposedly in, but then canceled because apparently trim is not the Lowes teams responsiblity. The threshold pieces were not installed at all, and as of today I am getting the run around from both the Lowes store & the installation company. Apparently, all their flooring management is out of town this week. I'm disappointed & angry! I expect better for the amount of $ I spent. And I will likely need to hire a contractor to fix the trim! Beware!
My go to store, I’ve received great appliance advice here and can always find what I need. New self checkout lanes are a new plus!
I always like going to Lowes, but this Lowes is my favorite for sure! They rarely do not have something in stock that I am looking for, and it's just a downright fun place to shop! Love it!
Purchased 6 treated 4x4x10' posts to be used for a deck and asked for advise on how much concrete to use per hole to a young man twice my size. He advised 50lb bags of quick set Crete, point right to them.and then walked away! Would have been awesome to have some help. I'm 55 years young and this is the generation that's going to take care of me as I get older.quite comforting. Not!
I'm a little concerned. It appears they have cut the staff and raised the prices to make up for it. There was no staff in the plants to ask for assistance if I had needed it. The were looking a bit neglected as well.
Lowes had everything I was looking for. No surprise there, they have a huge selection of everything you could ever need. From cleaning supply, electric, plumbing, lumber, tools batteries and a whole lot more. Aisles are a little tight, moving sheets of plywood/drywall proved to be tricky. Friendly and helpful staff
Has the worst delivery services imaginable. First it was a missing part for our new $3500 stove that took at least ten phone calls, six weeks, and then required a store visit. Now I have ordered patio stores which they scheduled for delivery on May 30. I got a call the morning of the 30th saying the driver called in sick but the delivery would come the next day. No delivery. I called, several times to get through, was told they did not make deliveries on holidays (Memorial Day), was told delivery would be today, June 1. No delivery. Several attempts to call, call forwarded to delivery dept, no answer. One answered call to a different department told me the delivery supervisor left at 2pm! I looked up my account on line and it says delivery is scheduled for two weeks from now, June 16. It would be great to be told the truth when a delivery reservation is made and when you talk to someone in the store but that doesn't seem possible. Busy times, Covid times, should not negate the truth.
Our recent trip to Lowe's was great. The person we worked with was very helpful. I think his name is Bobert. I will seak him out next time I am shopping.
The bathroom was clean! The check out had hand sanitizer!
See Robert in Flooring. Every time I come in, he comes right over to help me find what I need. There are a few others who make a solid effort, but I dont know their names. I know Roberts, because he reminds me every time I see him.a few times per week.
Never a problem with Lowes, until my recent carpet experience. We ordered carpet on November 30,2020. Today was the final day they were at our house. We were told on November 30th that it would be 10- 14 days until carpet was ordered and in, it would take an additional day to arrive at the outside company for installation (ULTIMATE Home Services). We didn't hear back from anyone after multiple calls until after Christmas. They then told us they would schedule the installation so we thought okay it had taken longer than expected but we would be getting carpet soon. We had four rooms to carpet and they came and measured it all themselves to make sure they ordered enough. The installers arrived at our house a couple weeks ago to tell us they were 1 room short of carpet, they knew coming that they wouldn't have enough and NO ONE CALLED US. I took the day off of work and still the project was not complete. Now we have to wait a couple more weeks to get more carpet for 1 room, to which we received a call that they no longer offer the "Dye number" for. So not only do we not have carpet for all four but one will be a different carpet all together. We were communicating with both Lowes and Ultimate Home Services to make sure it was going to be a rush and we weren't going to get pushed to the back. They then collaborate together and set us up for another install. We receive a call that day to let us know they WONT BE COMING! After we have now moved one of our kids room out of the space TWICE. We call obviously upset and they PROMISE they will be to our house the following day at 8: 30am. We got a call before 8 saying they won't be there until 1pm! If you want to be jerked around get your carpet with Lowes, if not I suggest doing more research and finding somewhere else.
Had to go out of my way to find help and their saw was down so I couldn't get lumber cut. Call ahead if you need lumber cut to fit in your car.
Thank you SO MUCH Ray and Chad in the delivery department of the Ithaca Lowes for helping us get our ADA shower insert delivered after the first one arrived damaged. They really went above and beyond, helping us return the first item, inspecting the replacement unit for damage, and responding to our calls and concerns when they delivery team was delayed. Your prompt communication really helped to lower our stress levels, and now we can get the shower installed on schedule, which will be a huge help to my elderly dad. Thank you so much!
Different from web site, web said $607 for a 60 gal. No 60 gal available & the 55 gal.were over $700. The staff however were exceptional. Tried to do the web survey for the store, however it didn't seem to be working properly.
Lowe’s is a joke. Their customer service is the WORST and they decided to steal from us and fabricated the evidence. Now they’re offering us $250 in compensation when we are owed $500. When I said “send the check and I’ll get my lawyer on the the rest” she put me on hold. Came back on phone and told me I needed to sign a letter saying I’m satisfied with the amount they’re offering and won’t pursue anything legally after. I have enough to prove what they owe us even if the CORTLAND NY store changed the invoice after the fact. We have the original invoice and the installation company also has a copy, but it’s taken me 2 months to get this offer even so involving a lawyer will take a lot longer. Shady people. Shady place. Never had an issue with Home Depot like this. Lowe’s sucks!
Ordered online and had lots of issues with process. Item not in stock as shown online and getting to store took over a week. The item was shipped days before I was notified and even after calling for status I had to wait for them to recieve it in when I got there to pick it up. Ordering online for in store pick up is never managed well here.
The staff are very helpful and efficient. They were shirt staffed and were still able to manage multiple customer orders for paint without too much wait time. All stagg know where items are even when you dont know the actual name of the product! Ordering paint and having it professionally mixed was quick and easy here. I also got some other household items throughout our move. The staff were helpful eith all of it.
I never got to go inside. Driving there, I hit a nasty pothole In front of the nearby Walmart, and made it to the Lowe's lot before the tire lost pressure. Watch out for potholes!
The store associates were very helpful and nice always asked if we needed help finding anything I would definitely recommend them.

Great assistance in lighting/ fans department, then was even assisted by store manager when he was leaving for the day while we browsing tractors.
