14I would give zero stars if possible. Delivered my washer dryer on a Wednesday and said it wouldn't fit down the stairs. Said they would not wait for the banister to be removed (2 minutes) so my fiance allowed them to put it in the garage. An appointment was made for Friday at which time when it was put in the basement it was damaged, while trying to contact the store the driver said he was calling also, went outside and left and signed the delivery receipt himself. Was supposed to come back to pick up the unit at 730 am Saturday. Rang the bell at 709. I went and opened the side door and put shoes on. By 712 my old machine was in my driveway and they were gone. Now i am left with a damaged unit in my basement and my functioning units in my driveway (in the rain) and no ability to do my laundry. Spoke to 3 different " managers on and off for 3 hours to get thisresolved and this is the outcome. Absolutely disgusted. Now i am sure i will be on the phone for another 3 hours and hopefully get someone who cares abd will do something. Wishful thinking.
Went shopping for a threshold. Came back the next day as the one I got didn't fit. It took over 16 minutes to finally get someone to assist me. Agents walked past me and my cart holding a threshold plate. I went to customer service but the line was long and slow so I went back to the head of the aisle. Agents walked past me. Finally a woman agent "saw me" and called for a helper. He showed me where they were (which I knew, but I needed help) and he told me to try this one and "I'll walk away and you can open it and try it". He walked away and never came back. I had to go seek help from the female agent and she diligently and caringly helped look. She assured me that this one would work. I had to show her that the track was completely different. Even completely new sets of the rail and seal didn't match the layout of the one I had.
Then I asked for help with weatherstripping. They didn't have a size that matched what I brought. She told me to buy this large size and cut it in half. Totally not what I was looking for. I left frustrated, sad and mad. This was the middle of the day and not many customers in the area. I ended up ordering the threshold thru another online service.
Help was requested in lighting. Help paged over PA but after 10 minutes I gave up waiting.
Good luck if you’re having any appliance delivered. They missed their window twice and would not wait for me to arrive the 2nd time. Getting a refund and going to Home Depot
So very disappointed with my experience at Lowes. Went there to pick up one specific item, that was on display in the store. I asked an associate for assistance to which he replied “I don’t know…they moved the boxes” He repeated this over and over. So due to some mysterious box moving employees this sale was not to be made. He then refused to sell me the floor model. All and all, my visit to Lowes in West Nyack to pick up one item became a half hour foray of ineptitude. Ridiculous
I just spent 30 minutes asking for assistance from 5 different associates all who told me they were either on break, not the right department or "I'm new and don't know anything". Literally walked out without purchasing what I came in for, since I got absolutely no help. It seems all you need to be hired at Lowes is a pulse, poor work ethic and a bad attitude.
Needs a little help in the customer service side. Their employees dont actively try to help customers - you have totrack o e down and hope they.are familiar with what ylu need.
Found everything I needed but they would not let me return plants I bought online because I didn't have receipt. Otherwise shopping experience was good.
Nice store, clean, has all home improvement stuff, but when i was there around 5 PM there was nobody to ask a question or get help from, to find anything quick in the store go online lowes.com search for the item, enter the store location and get the item location in the store, aisle and bin number.
Poor staff and hopeless service with filthy rooms
We have had booking for 2 nights, we have had ants in room and after requsting to chanve room, request was rejected as hotel was full and were ask to either take refund or stay in room at 1am in morning.
Good luck getting someone to help and if you do they won't have a clue. I wasted 1 hour trying to buy a refrigerator before giving up and leaving. I will never shop at this store again. Disgusting horrible customer service.
I live 10min away from this Orangeburg location but ALWAYS regret coming here. They always fail to have the right stock (electrical, plumbing or wood) or are out of inventory. Now that Spring/Summer is here, they are now out of outdoor pavers (24x24) but have a huge hole where the pallets should be. Now add their recent cart shortage and you will fully regret coming here! What's wrong with these guys? Horrible store/management and I highly recommend going to nearby HD (Nyack or Nanuet) or other Lowes stores (rt4?). Its where I constantly go AFTER stopping at Lowes Orangeburg, spend 20min looking for items and realize they don't have them
Your store call in customer service is pitiful! Don’t leave customers on hold for 30 minutes not to return pick up for another 20 minutes only to put them on hold AGAIN!
I had a great help for Iriana who works at the Pro Desk. She’s a great professional and made my life much easier. The store needs more employees like her. Thank You Iriana
