Lowe's Home Improvement, Farmingdale NY

Great products selection. The store is every clean, orderly, and well stocked. Their employees are exceptional, very kind, hospitable and knowledgeable. They all go out of their way to ensure that we got what we wanted easily. I especially liked the new hand-held scanners in the self checkout lanes. Strongly recommend!

I bought cabinet knobs and caulk several months ago. Didn’t use them and went to return them tonite. The store would not take them back because I didn’t have a receipt. The manager, Pete, treated me as if I were too dense to understand his justification. In fact, a policy of not at least giving store credit for things that are still currently on the shelves is ridiculous.
I will never shop at Lowe’s again for two reasons: Pete and the ridiculous policy.

I just went to get garbage bags, the product brand had changed and the employees helped me find the replacement for it. They were very nice and knowledge.

While I was able to eventually find the items I was looking for, finding employees was a different story. From the time I entered the store to the time I exited, I saw 3 employees the whole time, a returns cashier, a kitchen designer, and a head cashier at the self checkout. I wound up leaving with everything except custom cut steel cable and rope. No one around to cut those. I was at the store on a Thurdsday around 4: 30 PM.

Bought some beautiful Orchids. Love this place. The parking lot is always clean and ample of parking. You can get very good assistance from the knowledgeable employees.

Few go to Lowes more than I do. Or at least spend more in Lowes and Home Depot even if I personally don't show up. This store seems to be well run. I go to Lowes for my lighting and "finish" type items. I go to Home Depot for my Building type materials. Lowes gets my kitchen cabinet and appliance business whereas I go to Home Depot for plumbing fixtures and bath and tile usually.

The store is always clean and organized. All of the staff, including management, are always super helpful.

The customer service, especially in the paint department is horrible, with some of the representative being hostile towards the customers. I watched 3 different people ignore this women who was asking for help, before the guy in paint send a women to the wrong aisle, and yelled at her when she came back and asked him to clarify where the item was. Good thing there's plenty of home depots.

Always great service and great products in any of their stores. I always can ask for help and get friendly service. Great advice on many projects I have done over the years. Great selection of seasonal merchandise at good prices too!

First time ever coming to Lowe’s and I will not be coming again. At the time the store was fairly empty. I kindly asked three people for assistance, only two called for assistance for the department. I waited over a half hour and was never assisted. Spoke with manager Carlos, he was polite but was very nonchalant and just gave me excuses.

Really nice store, stuck off the main highway, if you didn't know it was there you would miss it. Ther's no sign on the main highway.
Store has everything u need. Be prepared to walk around its A big store and sometimes difficult to find things. Be persistent.

Very poor customer service. Couldn't find a product, went to customer service. They paged a service rep. But no one showed up after 10 mins of waiting. And we couldn't find anyone else willing to help. Very sad.

Very disappointed, decided to shop for a new kitchen countertop on a rainy Sunday.sales associate replied "Oh no I only do baths" and you need an appointment for kitchens", rudely also, could have called for assistance for us at least, we just wanted prices on countertop replacement, never dealing with Lowes for any updates, will go to the "professionals"

Help desk very helpful. They walked me right to the product I needed. Great selection of the garden items I wanted

What a great place, I want to thank the person who brought the items I purchased and forgot in my shopping cart to customer service. I came back two hours later and retrieved my item's. That was amazing.

I was in the lawn and garden department for 15 min w/no help and there was a gentleman who walked up and ask if he could help, I replied yes and he was very helpful and understanding, very apologetic for my wait. I'm sorry I didn't get his name I know he said he assembles all the displays in the back, very knowledgeable that store needs more employees like him and he should be a model of how to interact with people.

Dennis at the pro desk is 1 in a 1000. I drive passed 2 home Depots and another Lowes to work with Dennis. He checks all the boxes and always goes beyond. Hopefully Lowes of Farmingdale appreciates him. Employees like Dennis are 1 in a 1000!

Nice and very clean store, they have very good discounts on home remodeling things. Bought some bathroom accessories with reasonable price. All the aisle are cleanly stocked and east to pick.
I want to give 5 stars but the reason is you have to wait long for someone to help you, i believe they are shortage of staff.
