Lucky Foong reviews
16I found a roach in my crab sticks. THATS DISGUSTING. Very unsanitary and I got food poisoning from these people. I REPEAT DON’T ORDER FOOD FROM THIS CHINESE PLACE. THEY ARE DIRTY.
My order was messed up, and I had called and spoke to the manager she was very kind and helpful with this experience and had giving me a new order and apologized. 10/10 will go back
Worst Chinese food that I have ever purchased in my entire life. The rice tasted as if it was sitting for a few days and the chicken was not properly fried. If there was an option for 0 stars i would award it to this place.
I tried the pork fried rice, loved it. The chicken noodle soup was good. I enjoyed my meal. The delivery was on time.
Arguably the best Chinese restaurant in Rockland County, definitely the best one in Spring Valley. They do delivery, not so expensive and their food taste good. It's worth the money.
I’ve ate lucky fong for years this is not a robot. I’m writing this because I’m truly upset and disappointed and something needs to change.lucky fong was always my favorite restaurant to go to since I was 7 or 8 I’m 20 now and I can confirm the service and quality of the food has had a major decline. The food went from must eat and must have to disappointments and sad faces sadly I cannot say at this point in time I’d recommend lucky fong to anyone else. I told alot of people about the restaurant and they loved the food but recently those same people feel the same I do about this restaurant. I hope they can bounce back from this period of time but if you read this and decide to waste your money it’s on you. An to lucky fong I hope you guys get it together I find it sad I can’t enjoy your food anymore
I highly recommend NO ONE goes and eats their food. I’m pregnant and I found a cockroach in my food. It’s scary if I could of got sick because of it. I know a lot of family and children eat here so it’s upsetting. I went to get my money back and they were so rude about it. The health department gets a hold of this and their done.
The food was horrible. My daughter could not eat her hard sesame chicken and it also had a lot of bones, and was so mad because she payed with her own money!
Wonderful takeout experience!
The noodle dishes were flavorful. Their chicken teriyaki sticks are a MUST HAVE!
The dishes that were supposed to be saucy were very saucy which is great.
Everything we ordered for 5 people was incredibly tasty and of a generous portion. If you're doing takeout in Spring Valley/Nanuet, Lucky Foong can't be missed!
Excellent! The food was very fresh & tasty. The staff was efficient & friendly. We will order from them again!
For my people looking for chinese food that taste like NYC chinese food, this is it! Best chinese spot in the county!
First time ordering from here Will b my last Did not get the order right and the food was NASTY
The place was very nice workers were very nice the food is good and the price is fair and it is close and is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve been since I was born thank you
Today, we're in Spring Valley my hometown visiting relatives for the holidays.
My son and I are in the process of visiting every Chinese restaurant in Chittenden County, VT. We always order the same thing.
I order a chicken and broccoli combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll. My son orders a sesame chicken combo with pork fried rice and beef teriyaki sticks.
Price: $22.75 or $. 34/oz is consistent with the average price we would find in Northern Vermont.
Portion: 4.2 lbs between the two meals is average.
Pros: - High traffic convenient location just off Rt 59 in Spring Valley
- Yellow pork fried rice had subtle tasty flavor (We find that most Chinese restaurants serving yellow rice to be rather dry and flavorless) Tasty rice is a distinctive of this restaurant
- Large & tasty egg-roll with crispy shell
- A side of chicken teriyaki sticks (4) were of generous portion size and quite tasty
- They provided napkins and forks (albeit flimsy)
Cons:
- Cash only; They have an ATM inside (but who wants to pay an ATM fee if you're without cash)
- They don't offer beef teriyaki sticks
- They wouldn't allow us to swap an egg-roll appetizer for chicken teriyaki sticks.
- They're still using older, smaller microwavable takeout containers which many Chinese takeouts have transitioned away from.
- They didn't provide soy sauce packets, duck sauce packets, or fortune cookies.
- The windows haven't been washed in years
- Overall restaurant appearance seems unclean and a bit run down
Impression: Convenient location in the heart of Spring Valley offering average portion size with good food flavor but poor curb appeal, earning Lucky Foong's a 3.0 star review.
I order the small shrimp and broccoli meal on multiple occasions from this business. I am always pleased with their large food portions and often find myself with leftovers. In addition, the food is very much reasonably priced and their service is smooth. This place only takes cash which is why I give the place an overall 4/5 stars. However, this doesn’t take away from the excellent service at this restaurant.
