I'm giving them 4 stars because I haven't been there in years. I was one of Tony Sr's first and loyal customers in the seventies in Flatbush Brooklyn when ¼lb of hair was only $32. Now that won't even buy you an ounce! I plan on visiting next week and will spend about $200 for ¼lb and I can only hope the younger generation maintains the reputation of courtesy and professionalism that Tony built the company on.

Bought hair from Lugo and I never received the hair. Gross mismanagement of their business and very inconsistent with hair quality

I’ve been buying hair from them since 2009! And have never been disappointed! Whenever i hair someone looking to purchase extensions, they’re the only ones i recommend!

I’ve been shopping with Lugo’s for about 15 years now. I love logos hair and I always get compliments. I’ve never left a review because I hardly ever leave them, but I am compelled to leave this review. Some months ago i was very excited that Lugos finally got closures. Of course I went to purchase one along with a couple of ounces of wetted hair. I’m a curly girl so I never ever buy anything but curly, but I do admit that I don’t know the differences of specific curls- so I just go in asking for jerry curl. On this particular day I excited bought the jerry curl closure as well, but they did something extra special. The beautiful guy who works behind the counter who’s hair is always done so beautifully asked if I’d like him to wash and condition the closure for me (Hm, that’s never ever happened in all the years I’ve been shopping at Lugos) I thought, of course that would be awesome. I paid over $500 total for my hair and I went on my way. It took a couple of weeks for me to actually make the wig (yes, I make my own wigs). As I’m installing I learned the reason why he offered to wash it the closure: I bought beautiful jerry curl hair, but he knowingly sold me a kinky curly closure. He washed it so that I would t recognize the difference right away. Now I’m stuck with a wig with two different texture of curls. The closure itself cost $250 everything about what he did that day tells me he knew exactly what he was doing.
Also, I’m looking through reading other one star reviews. I don’t know who, from Lugos, is responding to these unhappy customers. Whomever this person is doing something very risky to their business. Accusing reviewers of fake purchases; TERRIBLE! Though I made a bad purchase with Lugos I was willing to still go back and purchase only wefted hair, but reading how the person responded to their customers- ABSOLUTELY NOT! Someone mentioned “Glitzy Hair” and “Kendra’s Boutique” let me shop around and stop acting Lugo’s is the only hair company in business. Nice doing business with you for 15 years. Based on how you’ve handled your customers’ complaints, you’ve lost me as a customer. I’m sure you have some terrible things to say to my review, based off your response to others. PEOPLE TAKE HEED TO HOW THEY ARE HANDLING UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS!

Always the best experience, attentiveness & care at Lugo's. They make it worth the drive from Washington, DC as I've been doing for over 20 years.

I love the way they handle their customers. They even encourage customers to ask questions about different hairstyles before buying. It's a 5-star service.

I have soft wavy hair that I bought there a year ago and it’s still serving me well. I will be getting a different style from them soon.

Last month I bought a semi-straight human weave at Lugo’s and I am happy. It looks good and the texture is just like I wanted.

Best place to get your hair! You get what you pay for! Customerservice's is awesome and so are the guys who put the hair together they do a special color blend for me that you can't buy and I love it
