Luster Photo & Digital Inc reviews
18Great and timely service. They were the first place I have ever gotten film developed that I didn’t do myself. Would definitely come again.
The best in my opinion. The team at Luster Photo is incredibly reliable and the quality of their work remains constant. Six Stars.
They gave me a huge discount, for no reason. Honestly, i don't think any printer compares. These guys are the best.
The best of the best. I always get my scans back within 48 hours. Usually same day. Everyone there is friendly and professional. 10/10
By far my favorite place to get film developed and scanned in NYC! Exceptionally nice and receptive staff as well.
AMAZING quality photo developing (I get my film developed here, then emailed to me) and quick turnaround. Also the people there are pleasant. Love it here! Won’t bring my film anywhere else!
Quick and knowledgable staff, and great developers of film! My photos always turn out beautifully. Located right on Tompkins Square Park! I just wish the hours were a bit more flexible or that the lounge was open on Sundays.
What great service at Luster! The staff is excellent and will work with you to give you the best possible quality prints!
Luster has become my new favorite spot in the city for developing. Fair prices and a good consistent service.
I've just switched to Luster recently after bouncing around other local labs. Not only is the quality amazing in my film scans, but they also offer the quickest service of anywhere I've been! (Same or next day). Every time I've been in, I've been helped with respect and friendliness. I could not be happier with my experience here, thank you!
I don’t recommend. Horrible service. High price and bad quality. They did horrible photo for documents, I’m not happy about!
Friendly and knowledgeable employees and clean space. I like how you can buy rolls of film individually. Their development services are reliable and fast but as a whole the store is a little pricey.
Really fast and friendly service. I went in to get my passport photos taken, and I was able to quickly get them done in about 15 minutes. And they actually turned out good. They take credit cards over $10 and the pictures were $15 for 4.
Don’t hesitate to drop by and get all of your photo or camera related projects taken care of. You are in good hands!
I've been coming here for years. I've gotten jpegs printed to frame here and they develop 35 mm black and white and color. The staff here are pleasant and helpful. If you need processing & prints try this place out.
Terrible customer service. They destroyed 3 rolls of slide film then blamed it on the film that they sold me! They don’t know how to process anything without a DX code (black and white 120 film) Also they sell film at double the price of other local vendors. Never going here again, wouldn’t recommend to anyone, stay away!
Convenient, long-standing staple of real film development in the heart of the east village by Tompkins.
This place is a ripoff I went there to have 3 rolls of 35mm black and white developed no prints no scanning just film processing paid up front almost $30 Ok I figured it is black and white so fine I go to pick up my negatives they are rolled up in a long clear sleeve I asked counter person could they cut and sleeve them I was told that's an additional $2 per roll I had to ask the question again to confirm and to my amazement that was indeed the price so essentially I would be paying $36 dollars for 3 rolls of film needless to say I walked out with my negatives uncut I will never return here I worked for Kodak for 15yrs It's not a big deal to cut and sleeve negatives definitely not worth $2 a roll they have however inspired me to purchase my own processing items thou so I'll thank them for the inspiration NOT!
Update 1/25/19 as promised thru the vehicle of youtube I am now processing my own black and white film for the price of what I pay for the roll of film purchased my own chemicals and tank a pack of negative sleeves for $5 so now im fully self contained
