Cocktail Bar Mace reviews
18Can only judge the drinks and they were incredible! Such a beautiful menu too, highlighting various herbs and plants that you don’t often think of as a base for cocktails. Certainly among my fav cocktail bars in the city.
So good, went for happy hour and had amazing tacos and oysters.
Absolutely amazing service and amazing drinks.
Cute place but WORST cocktails I’ve ever had and most are no less than $20. Stood in the bar area and drinks unfortunately took forever when it didn’t seem that packed. Not worth it.
Came here for a date after work for happy hour and it was so amazing! Loved the atmosphere, the plants, the vibes and our waitress was super sweet. I got the Mace Mocktail drink and it was SO good. Had the tacos and jumbo shrimp as well. Love love love! #happyhour
I came for a rum tasting event held here. It was so much fun! The appetizers were delicious and there was a nice sized mixed crowd. There were about 4 or 5 tables set up and each vendor was very knowledgeable about their rums. The welcome cocktail was very good. The restaurant as a whole is beautiful would make for a very nice date spot.
Scored a seat at the bar. Helpful service. Perfect Whiskey sour with an egg white. Had a couple. Plenty of the 'too cool for school' crowd. Too old to care now.suppose we all did that 35 years ago, and we all end up fat in burbs eventually anyway. $48 for two drinks inc service.
Without a doubt, the best cocktail experience. I have never tried something so well executed, thought out and macerated. 10/10 without a doubt you have to come and return. The attention is spectacular and the atmosphere is very thoughtful.
Front desk person was not happy to be there the day we visited! In fact we arrived a few minutes early on a rainy day and were not allowed to wait indoors (we were about 6mins early!) waiting staff were more courteous, food was mediocre and drinks were decent.
I love this bar, I really do. I’ve been coming for years, they make the best cocktails in the city.
But when I come with my dad who’s visiting, place a reservation, and tell you he can’t stand long without being in pain and you leave us waiting for 25 minutes standing in a corner and you’re impolite about it then that’s not ok and it ruined the experience.
Great spot, the mace and the fig leaf are great drinks! Not super pricey. Food is decent as well.
The drinks on the menu were something special, let me tell you! I leaned towards the poppy seed cocktail to get a lil Ukrainian comforting feeling. And my delightful company got the Sorrel (also had that good ol’ Ukrainian comfort vibe). Went for the first time tonight and rest assured I’ll be back for more. The tempura cauliflower tasted like the king of satay everyone has got to try!
Waited about 25 minutes for 3 drinks then another 10 minutes for another one our server Johnathan literally forgot us twice Services was ridiculously slow even tho bar tenders were standing around not servicing anyone. But hey thanks for the “comp” and the drink I didn’t even get, won’t be back. Service was tragic.
Creative and unique drinks with a nice atmosphere. The Garlic drink stands out. It sounds like it shouldn't work, but it does
The flavors are just too crazy for me, and I normally go for crazy tastes. Right now I’m drinking a peanut butter jalapeño drink and it’s just not the right tastes together. My friends are drinking the sumac and the fig leaf taste and the flavors are just too much, not supposed to be mixed.
The service was a little slow. We tried a bunch of drinks and ordered the happy hour tacos. Most of our drinks were good. The peanut butter drink wasn’t really to our liking though.
This place has elaborate and well thought out cocktails that are scientific creations of highly insightful minds executed at a similarly high level. Prepare yourself for an experience like no other. 5/5
I came here for a happy hour with a friend and the cocktails were amazing - specifically the beet one! Super friendly bartenders and nice raw bar.
The cocktails‘ quality is superb every time I visit Mace. Food won’t disappoint either but if you are in for dinner, make sure to order enough.
Service at Mace is excellent, especially if you are in the competent hands of Deric: he will listen carefully to your wishes and deliver consistently great drinks.
