Madison Square Park reviews
11Nice, with a place for light refreshments where you can sit outside. It also has benches to sit.
I really enjoyed Madison Square Park. Whilst in New York I was waiting for the friends experience and stopped off here for lunch. It was a beautiful day and the park was filled with people, dogs and squirrels. It was a lovely place in such a busy city. Also had free wifi which was an added bonus
Very peaceful. Unlike some.other local parks. No skateboarders. Squirrels come out at twilight. Great neighborhood for eating.
Such a historic and amazing park. Very well maintained and love the art instillations and dog park.
Love this place. Just chilling on a bench with coffee, enjoying sunshine, watching dogs and birds in the park and listening to the sounds of the city. Also the view!
Madison Square Park is one of the places you should not miss on your trip to New York. Between Fifth Avenue and Broadway, you will find a place with a lot of nature, one of the parks most visited annually by thousands of tourists.
It has numerous architectural works that you can admire as you walk through it. And the vast majority of statues that you will see in Madison Square Park date from the 19th century. For example, you'll see a statue of Senator Roscoe Conkling.
Another of the famous statues is that of former New York governor William H. Seward and Augustus Saint-Gaudens, admiral of the Civil War.
It should be noted that the torch of the Statue of Liberty was displayed in this park, when funds were raised for its construction.
This park was also the original location of Madison Square Garden in 1879. Therefore, in its surroundings, you will find buildings very famous for their architecture.
I like the atmosphere of the place.
Whenever I go to New York, I go there. If I'm in a nearby hotel, I do physical activity early in the morning.
Nice park, I don't have a lot to say about it, I just stopped there for a few minutes and contemplated the surroundings. Winter weather, no leaves, it was a bit sad.
Brutal experience! We watched the Knicks against the Chicagos, they won the game and the atmosphere was amazing! I would repeat it without a doubt! Yes, the tickets are expensive, but it is worth it.
I visited this place in the winter of 2033-24. Turned out to be a wrong timing. All lawns were closed. No fountain. Only pigeons feeding and dogs barking.
Located in the heart of Manhattan, this well-appointed garden allows you to enjoy a natural space to rest, read a book or relax with a hot or cold drink as needed.
