Magnolia Bakery, New York NY

I LOVE this place, the cupcakes, blondies, and lemon bar are my favorite. It is famous for the banana pudding, but I not a big fan in general. The only thing I really don’t like here is the red velvet cupcake frosting, it is really buttery. The place is really cute and if there’s a line… it’s worth the wait. A total NYC classic!

Horrible service. I get that there are Covid rules but the 3 person thing doesn’t work when the guy inside screams at you to leave because of the rule when there are countless delivery people coming in and out and no way to tell who is from a delivery service and who was in line. You liiterally have to look in and get screamed at in order to know if it’s ok to go in. If I could give it 0 I would.

A bit over-hyped for me. Not bad, not great. You can find better cupcakes at Billy's and other spots.

Highly recommend the cherry chocolate cupcake. The frosting was light and the cake had a nice cherry ganache in the middle.

I know, this place is very hyped up, but in this case you believe it as it sort of lives up to it's expectations. The banana pudding, cinnamon cupcakes, vanilla cake with buttercream, and red velvet are all to die for.

Very friendly staff who are courteous and helpful, though the lines can be long depending on when you go.

Not a big cupcake fan generally as find the icing too sweet but these guys were just right apparently quite a famous place.cake was nice and the icing didn't overpower

We dropped by to try the cupcakes everybody is talking about. They were as good as they said and better.

I literally got 2 of the small sized banana pudding for myself! I'm not even a banana pudding fangirl or anything but this place turned me into one! If I'm ever nearby a Magnolia Bakery, I always get one. Do yourself a favor and run here and get some for yourself!

The Banana Chocolate cake will change your life. The Banana pudding is solid. There is not a bad choice in this place.

Came here on a Cupcake Tour guides bu Best Tours. It was a good tour I suggest anyone try their tours. The cupcakes here come in many sizes and arw pretty popular. We had the red velvet. It was good for a tiny cupcake. Don't think this is a bad place to check out. They accommodated us for the tour while they had another 20 customers show up without a problem.

The cupcake and cobbler were amazing! We were expecting breakfast foods but otherwise everything looked fantastic.

Magnolia Bakery has some of the best desserts and pastries in SOHO. The desserts here are all perfectly cooked and perfectly made and are just to die for. It is also one of the most famous streets in New York's history, which is Bleecker street. Overall great food and a great experience of New York.

This is the best bakery ever. Back when I lived in nyc used to go to all of their different locations all the time. They're famous for their banana pudding but even their cakes, cupcakes and blueberry jamboree is amazing. My favorite is their upper west side location which has a party room so you can do a bday, baby shower or a small party there. Plus they have a bigger seating area compared to all the other Iocations in the city. Wish they would open magnolia all throughout the country. It's so good.
