Maharaja Farmers Market reviews
15I just witnessed the employees handeliing beef and chicken, and how they cut it without even cleaning their equipment I just wonder would they have handled pork in such a similar way
It's a good place to shop. They provide halal meat section.
Fresh veggies and groceries. You can get everything in one place
I bought a bread yesterday and when I opened this morning it was covered with mold. Also, I bought some pastry and it didn't taste fresh, and there was a white hair inside it!
Food was fresh and inexpensive compared to other stores. The store is kept very clean and the music was in the background was entertaining!
Stopped buying here0. When it first opened the food was always fresh but now the place is dirty and the items are old. Still better than the one in New Hyde Park
It’s really good place to shop your groceries and at really good prices i go every week for my own grocery shopping and it’s convenient and everything is fresh all the time love this place
You can find almost all the variety of Pakistani/Indian grocery, fresh vegetables, fruits, dry fruits & Halal meat. Quality & customer service is very good.
A bit crowded considering the covid situation. Variety products and in direct competition to Patel Brothers nearby. Reasonably priced quality veg and groceries
It's a nice place for Indian style grocery shopping. Metered parking is available in front of the store or park in nearby residential streets.
We bought the grocery from maharaja hillside avenue on August 10,2020. I spend $176 for food and everything.but when I came back to home and check icecream it’s all spoil and tasteless. I went back to store for returning these. The staff was rude with me.one girl working on first counter and one Spanish guy talked badly. I decided never went to this store again.bad service
This Indian grocery store is good for NYC standards. I go at night because parking is really tough during the day. Prices are reasonable.
Spoiled frozen grated coconut (Daily Delight) sold here. Although it’s a safety issue, the store acting manager (Ms. Priya) demonstrated atmost unprofessional behavior and refused to even alert her manager. Very Poor customer service.
Half of the items are expired you can’t trust their products. I go here only if there’s an emergency and if you miss to check the expiry date, you loose your money and you get sick. I told them twice before with the products and they didn’t even apologize and I got trapped today as I was in a hurry 2 of my products that I brought are expired in 2019.
It’s clean and they have most everything you would want to make an Indian meal. They carry lots of other items also like pots/pans, hair supplies, holiday items, prices are reasonable.
The store is well set up and clean. They keep the place clean and well stocked with fruit and vegetables for the population they serve. They have good prices on yogurt and milk. The staff is friendly after a few visits.
