I just love the architecture of this building. It can be viewed from Central Park, but it's address is 115 Central Park West. It was built in 1929, and completed in 1931 in an Art Deco style. It is 346 feet tall, and has 31 floors. Like the nearby San Remo apartment block, this structure also has twin towers incorporated into its design. The Majestic's architect was Irwin S. Chanin. The Majestic was designated a New York City Landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1988.
