MANDELA MARKET reviews
16I always go here for bananas and its also where I get my gas from when I'm on the e.side. It's cool to stop there when you need snacks.
For some reason they refuse to place a 'visible ' price on the bottled water in coolers. I get charged a different price every other day I'm in there depending on the staff working. Its frustrating. The store is clean and well kept. Staff is friendly and you don't have to wait long to get checked out.
Put bottled water prices on the cooler doors!
During this pandemic, the hardest hit is the black neighborhoods and you take advantages with price gouging this should be reported
Great Place nice investment in neighborhoods years ago when most would not of thought of building there and now has expanded to a second location on Jefferson and Broadway help anchor and thrive in up and coming places
Mandela's Market is a great place to go and spend your money. Especially when you are trying to be conscience of who you spend with and where. It can be pretty busy as far as trying to get gas but it just depends on the time you go. Inside is your usual convenience store so they have various items that you may need. The staff are ALWAYS friendly and willing to help you with anything if need be. Big, big recommendation as far as overall good service and convenience.
The Mandela on Broadway and Jefferson Ave there a elder man in the store always questioning me. At like 6: 00
Mr. Mandela is a friend of mine's has contributed to the revitalization of the east side by the opening of the original Mandela market and very shortly he will open up a new market on Broadway and Jefferson kudos to mr. Mandela
Love this store. They are very friendly, Helpful and prices are great. They are very busy but you are in and out. I've never really had to wait.
The place iscthe only place i go to for gas 24 hr store never had a problem there they r always willingvto help you the grounds need to be kept up a little better bit beside that i would never go. To no other gas station unless i had to very good place
Good place just need to get them people out from hanging at the doors bugging u for something & being rude
Only thing good about Mandelas is that they're open 24 hours. They're the only store on that side of the Eastside that's open 24 so it gets a little crowded. The customer service isn't bad and it isn't good either. There's always some creepy looking dude in the back scaring tf outta folks. Prices are high too
Awesome Convinion store and staff name romie giving good respect and customer service as well, x
Glad this convince store is here. I can knock out most of my shopping quickly and the service here is reliable and efficient.the staff interaction is real instead of a "forced smile" atmosphere like big stores and franchises.
I was very much offended by the staff and their lack of attending to the customers. They were more interested in dealing with friends that had stopped by the store. Things have really changed since the early days!
Too busy, dirty outside, people hanging out like they're at a party, I went to get gas and a fight broke out and the store owners/ workers didn't even come out to make sure they took it away from their establishment.
Everyone is very Community oriented and gas was 40% off in celebration of Nelson Mandela's Birthday.
