Mangia 23rd - Midtown Italian & Corporate Catering NYC reviews
26Friendly service and very much like the casual go around pick what you like layout. Prices were good for a breakfast meal. I had the veggie omelet with turkey bacon, delish! Out of towers from Dayton.
I went here twice in the last two days. I absolutely love the sandwich selection, some of the best warm sandwiches I have ever had. I also got an eggplant and olive pizza, absolutely perfect, not too many olives. They also have a farm to table concept and list which farms they get their foods from, I love to support businesses that try their best to be sustainable. The atmosphere and decor was brilliant, everyone was covid cautious and the establishment was clean. Definitely worth stopping.
Really great all around, outstanding service and reputable workers with great knowledge.
Some costumers seem to be putting on a show, and by that I mean they need to get over themselves and enjoy the food and not be so full of yourself.
I would recommend and keep coming.
Their food is always amazing and there's always a great selection. The soups, smoothies, and pastries are incredible. Great place overall.
Food is good but I've been passed over by the servers at the counter once too often. They obviously prefer to serve guys at this place. I no longer go there.
Mangia is more like a food hall than a restaurant. Endless fresh choices; salads, an over the top salad bar, made to order sandwiches, pasta, soups, baked goods. Go from station to station making your choices, pay by the pound, take out or eat in, seating is available upstairs or downstairs. Many excellent vegetarian and vegan choices. I have been eating here for 20 years, they use the best ingredients, and I have never been disappointed. Gourmet food at very moderate prices for midtown Manhattan. Excellent people watching.
There's buffet style, pizza, sandwiches and soups. For the buffet I think it's like $10 per pound. I love their kale salad and warm pesto pasta (there's two kinds, one cold and one hot). If you work near the location you might be able to get 10% off by showing ur company id.
Got one of their hot sandwich specials. Great flavor. Ambiance was cafe like and I wish I had time to sit down and enjoy it. Knocked off a star because it's a bit pricy for the portion size. But planning to come back for more and to try the espresso!
I absolutely love coming to this location. The food is tasty and fresh, the staff is friendly, and the service is always great! Their catering service is also terrific. The platters always come beautifully arranged!
I absolutely love this place. I've ordered the tagliatelle with bolognese. It's cooked for 8 hours guys! Simmered onion, celery, carrots, tomato sauce and red wine. How divine does that sound? Not only is the food great the staff is always so sweet. The manager (his name slips my mind) is always around if you need anything. He's a sweetheart. You gotta check this place out.
Love this place. I call it my fancy deli cuz it has everything you want in a clean, and friendly setting. Plus everything is delicious
Lovely layout and food options. I was super excited to try their strawberry shortcake but came on a day when they didn't have it. I opted for red velvet and I was severely disappointed. The cake was moist in a wet kind of way, you could push down on it and liquid would form. Very weird.
LOVED the food, LOVED the staff, LOVED the atmosphere, LOVED the prices.even the bathroom was beautiful! As I sat here I watched everyone who works here as they meticulously went about their work. Everything is SUPER clean, and you can tell that everyone that works here really truly cares about what they do. I'll recommend for SURE.
Poor portion and very expensive. I ordered rigatoni with tomato sauce and basil, I got a miserable portion of overcooked pasta. Never Again!
I used to love this place but there where reasons why I hate it but I don't hold any unlike some great customer workers do but other than that great place to eat wait time can be a hassle but the one thing we all can say the food is always good with the great chefs they make the place reach high standards
All I can say is wow.
This place is absolutely fantastic.
I had a massive catering order for my CEO and this place did not disappoint.
They brought everything on time and their presentation was perfect.
Cant say enough great things about this place.
Sorry you all have to here this but there was a roach n my food and one of the mangers are disrespectful horrible service
For a lunch spot called "Mangia, " a base requirement would be to make a decent chicken parm hero. The chicken parm here is gross, overpriced, poor quality chicken. I would pass on this place. Not a fan.
I come here every so often for lunch. They offer a wide selection of food but I usually get the sandwiches and pasta. The food is fresh and the staff is always willing to go above beyond if you want your sandwich for example made a certain way (I like mines extra toasty). While, it isn't a sit down restaurant, after you placed your order and you are staying in, they do bring you order to you. My only thing is the place is a bit on the pricey side.
This is hands down the best salad bar I've been to in nyc. The quality and preperation of the food is a step or three above the rest.
Don't come too late during lunch hours. They run out of the prepared dishes.
They also have a juice bar
Cons - the selection of foods is smaller than typical salad bars. It's also more expensive (though you're getting better food!).
