Manhattan Beauty reviews
4Just left not too long ago. I bought a black skull wave cap from here before with no problem. I bought this second one last week in red color. When i got home i noticed the stitching is messed up and when you put it on it is bent and does not fit my head properly. It might be hard to see but i posted 2 photos. I tried to exchange it today and was quickly told no exchanges. I did not know this store had a no return or exchange policy. If i had have known i would never have shopped here. I usually use a card but they have minimum $5 purchase, go figure. My item was under $5 so i had to pay cash. They are very fortunate because if i had have paid with my card then I would have called my company and reversed the charge. I don't trust businesses with this kind of policy. Customer service was terrible. The Chinese chick behind the counter who seemed to be the manager was rude and dismissive. I will never return here again. Make sure you pay with a card because if you buy something damaged or you are not happy with your purchase they will not give you a refund or allow an exchange. This type of policy should not even be legal. Would give zero stars if possible. I would stay away from this place if i were you
This is one of those old school, New York City gems. The type of place that has everything you need, everything you didn't know you needed, and expert customer service to help along the way. Great for professionals and the average shopper alike.
Very racist people, I’m a profession hair stylist in Nyc. I go in and I’m followed around the store every time. Then when I call them out on it. They act surprised and want to argue with me. Don’t go in especially if you are black
A wide variety of products for everyone backed by experienced and friendly Customer service staff. It's well worth it.
