Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital reviews
8My experience with this hospital was amazing. The staff and nurses were extremely nice and helpful. I high recommend them.
I was here for an outpatient procedure, my first surgery, and I was very, very nervous. From the first person I spoke to at the front desk, everyone was extremely personable, kind, and caring. I was introduced to everyone by name, constantly checked on and asked if I needed anything, and my surgical team went above and beyond in answering my questions and making sure I was comfortable. The procedure took an hour less than they'd advised, which I appreciated! You'd always rather be pleasantly surprised with less time than more. Everyone from the nurses to the anesthesiologist to the registration team to the front desk, everyone treated me so kindly and really put me at ease. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
This is the best eye hospital, I and Mr Dowd recommend it, the staff and doctors are excellent and friendly, especially Miss Jamie Lambert who guided us.thanks Dr Katie Dr, rhoring who change my life and God bless all the doctors and nurses and all the hospital's staff. Thank you.
I had surgery here and the entire process was smooth and pleasant. Each and every staff member from administration to nurses etc.were kind, informative, and made me comfortable. Being in a hospital is stressful and worrisome, they made it less so. Thank you!
A family member had surgery here and everyone from the nurses to the doctors were absolutely amazing.
Outstanding staff from the moment I walked into the entrance of the hospital up until the surgery. I cannot emphasize enough, Nicole and the team staff outstanding. All of them, not one, but we’re full of life, energy, happiness and most important passionate about their patient. I know my doctor is outstanding, but having the entire team, it’s incredible! A Broadway play of kindness and empathy towards their patient. I have never experienced so much kindness at 5: 45 am, it’s a pleasure to visit this Lennox Hospital! Cheer’s
My ophthalmologist of many years practiced from here after he closed his private practice. After he retired, he referred me to other doctors at this facility. I went once last year…very much like a “factory”. A few different people did various examination procedures, and then the doctor summed it all up. I was not impressed and decided this year to find another doctor. Then I get an email this year “confirming” a follow-up appointment which I never made! I returned the email, declining the appointment. Then yesterday, I get a phone message (automated) again confirming the appointment. I called this morning and spoke with someone who cancelled the appointment. About 20 minutes later, received another telephone reminder of this already cancelled appointment. I had to call again to tell them to stop! I think Northwell should explore the leadership of this facility …obviously it’s not being operated the way a good medical facility should be.
Caring, efficient, professional and skilled staff 360! Today I had my second inner ear surgery. The first ear (rightside) was done 13 years ago somewhere else and with a different team—- with a lot of issues. This time, 13 years later, it went wonderfully with this new team and hospital. Shout outs to: Nurse Alex, Dr. Kohane (surgeon) and Dr. Thompson and Dr. Akanath —anesthesiologists. Their care plan validated me as they heard (and listened) to my concerns from a difficult experience 13 years ago. I’m so happy today went 100x better!
