Manhattan Eye Dr. Yuna Rapoport, MD MPH, New York NY

The clinic is very well equipped.staff are helpful. However, they did not use my vision insurance for the prescription and charged me about $160 for contact lense prescription. I was surprised since I asked the nurse who was checking me in, and she said it is covered. At the end I was informed that my medical insurance is covering the health check up of my eyes, but since the ophthalmologist prescribed the lenses, they can not use my vision insurance! When I asked so if I went to optometrist for prescription, then it would be covered! They said YES! I think they need to be clear about it at the beginning! I appreciate the health check up and the time that they spend, but the main reason that I was there was eye prescription, and additionally eye check up!

Dr. Rapoport and her staff are awesome, very thorough and professional. I definitely recommend her for the EVO ICL procedure and all other opthalmology needs!

Dr Rappoport is very knowledgeable and has a truly comforting bedside manner. She diagnoses issues quickly and accurately (laser-sharp eye!) and offers comprehensive solutions that actually work. The examination process is the most throughout I have experienced at an eye care facility, the equipment in the office is top notch, and so is the staff! Very pleasurable experience and I feel very well cared for each time I come.

Dr. Rapoport is excellent! Incredibly attentive and always willing to answer any question. She's incredibly skillful and really saved me after a bad incident. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Rappaport is an outstanding person and physician who genuinely cares about the welfare of her patients. I have been deeply impressed by her commitment to her profession and how much she cares to educate the next generation of physicians by generously sharing her profound insight and medical cutting edge knowledge in her field of Ophthalmology. I have suffered from a number of eye problems for a long time and thanks to the excellent care as well as Dr. Rappaport’s diagnostic and operative skills, I now enjoy perfect eye sight without sticky contact lenses or fogging glasses!

It's been 2 weeks since I got SMILE done and it has exceeded all expectations! There was very little down time (I only took 2 days off of work to give my eyes a break from screens), absolutely no pain during or after the surgery, and I have 20/20 vision! After years of struggling with itchy contacts due to dry eyes, I knew I needed to make a change. I was worried about getting laser eye surgery given my pre-existing dry eye, so I did a lot of research, went to many consultations and asked a lot of questions. In the end, I felt like Dr. Rapoport was the only doctor I could trust, and I am so glad I decided to do my surgery with her. I've seen many opthalmologists in NYC over the years, and Dr. Rapoport is hands down the best. In addition to being a very skilled surgeron, she is a great doctor that I can always count on. One of the reasons I chose her is because she is a doctor first and foremost. She does do surgeries, but she also sees patients regularly, and that put me at ease. Overall, I could not be happier and I could not recommend her more highly. I will continue to see Dr. Rapoport for all of my eye care needs moving forward!

Spent 2.5 hours at office waiting for my friend due to poor scheduling of patients. Didn’t even offer to pay garage.fee.

I had a great experience with Manhattan Eye for my SMILE procedure. The procedure went perfectly, Dr. Rapoport explained everything, the screening and follow-ups were seamless, and the procedure itself was competitively priced. I’m recommending them to anyone who asks!

Kind of disorganized and scattered. Left another patients info up on the computer in my room. Told me to come back it’s okay if you’re not done signing forms - wait no jk finish the paper work. Told them I had contacts and was wearing them. 2 minutes later after a few other questions they Wanted me to do numbing drops to test my eye pressure. Then when I reminded them I had contacts in they were surprised - if I hadn’t said anything they would have numbed them with my contacts in (idk if that’s dangerous but still didn’t inspire trust). Idk just really not great

Horrible my mother went in and the MA wrote down some note doctors ignore it and just okay just come on this date bye, didn’t even let a question to be asked rude I guess she picks and choices who she wants to be nice too I wonder if she treats her family like this too?

Came here on a referral after I moved cities. Dr. Rapoport is very knowledgeable and made sure I got proper follow ups after a small surgery I had done before I moved.

I had an excellent visit this morning. It was efficient and quick. Everyone was very nice. Going in the morning was much better. I highly recommend Dr Rapoport and her staff. My eyesight has dramatically improved to 20/20. Just amazing.

Dr. Rap is the best. Not only did she go to Ivy League schools and knows everything there is to know about this field, she is also understanding and patient with your needs. I just got lasik and I was freaking out a bit on the weekend and texted her and she even answered.

Dr. Rapoport was absolutely prompt, professional and extremely attentive to all my needs. Wouldn’t trust anyone else

I love them they did my surgery yesterday and today my eyes are great, no swelling, no pain, and I can see perfect, I love them, my doctor was (DR. Yuna Rapoport) ya should go to her!
