Management office only cares about your rent. It is almost impossible to reach, you have to wait until the next working hours even to schedule an elevator!

Terrible building dirty common spaces, very small gym and never cleaned. Apartments are cold as building is poorly isolated with everything falling apart. The towel racks that are falling down and water closets that are dripping. The kitchen has permanently scratched and dirty stove and furnitures are falling apart. The bathrooms are very old and destroyed, bath tube scratched. Above of everything there is growing number of social apartments and there is a lot of mentally sick people living in the building. They talk to you and harrasing you. If you have kids scary place to be.

Buildings are old which means really cold during the fall/winter season and hot during the summer. The common spaces are dirty except lobby, many times smells disgusting from the chutes. The bathrooms are old full of scratches and the water is often cold during the winter (especially morning and nights). Can't wait when my lease will finish.

I like my apartment in MP. The management is also very cooperative and the maintenance staff also respond very promptly

I moved in to Manhattan park about 3 years ago. The apartment buildings are nice, clean and all the amenities are great. The people that work here are extremely nice and helpful. When I came to look at apartments Elizabeth Pearson helped me look at places and was great at finding the exact apartment that fit all my needs. Roosevelt island is a great place to live there are plenty of places to eat and grocery shop. Also the island is extremely save. I highly recommend Manhattan park!

Repeated floodings (2-3 inches of water on the ground) with damage to furniture and carpets, necessitating repeated construction in the unit for repair of the tiles. The building did not even explain the source of the flooding (eg clean vs dirty pipes). We only got a compensation for one of the floodings (but experienced five). We heard from other residents that they had experienced the same problem. Our apartment was newly renovated at move in, but everything kept breaking within 2 years. The fridge door couldn't close. The toilet flush water kept running from the tank - the maintenance staff couldn't fix it and refused to replace it. The sink floor fell apart and crashed into the cabinet. At one point the building lobby was under construction for more than a year, with all amenities closed. After we moved out, we heard the building forced tenants to vacate units for several days for installation of new windows in occupied units. Constant draught from poorly insulated windows. Astronomical winter utility fees of about $400. Nice location, wonderful doorman, and nice views, but lots of hidden traps.

We loved living at Manhattan park. The leasing office staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Rent and Danielle helped us coordinate moving in and moving out. Our doorman and maintenance guys became our friends. The apartments are spacious, updated and clean. Most apartments here seem to bring in good light too. If we ever had a problem, maintenance was there within 24hrs. Each building has a gym which usually isn’t crowded. Manhattan park even partners with organizations to host fun holiday events like for Halloween and Christmas. If you’re on the fence about moving here, do it. The red bus takes you to and from the station with ease!

Love the property, I spoke to Elizabeth from the leasing office, very friendly, great experience. Good location, pet friendly, kids playgrounds and park around. Amazing view of the city. I am very satisfied.
