Dr. Nemirovsky quickly diagnosed my disc herniation w/severe sciatic leg pain. He ordered an MRI on the same day which confirmed the diagnosis. He texted me later that night with the specific diagnosis, pictures, and words of encouragement. Who does that?

I just wish I had found him earlier because I was in a lot of pain and somewhat depressed because it kept getting worse over many days and despite having good insurance and motivation, I was not really getting any actual help or even an explanation that made sense.

I did not get a correct diagnoses going through my primary doctor for a prior incident. I also went to a hospital emergency room when the pain kept me from sleeping and the ER doctor also failed to diagnose my condition and just recommended I make an appointment with my primary doctor!

Dr. Nemirovsky used topicals, massage, stretching, and decompression to actually improve my situation fairly quickly. He had me ice the area off and on and take ibuprofen for inflammation. He also suggests the lidocaine patches. My pain is greatly reduced after a couple of weeks, although I expect I'll need a lot more healing and therapy to get back to "normal". I have been going three times a week.

Perhaps I will need a shot or surgery down the road, but I'd much rather try to heal naturally before going that route.

Before seeing Dr. Nemirovsky, I visited another physical therapist to treat my lower back pain caused by long hours working behind a computer, from which I experienced only marginal improvement.
Dr. Nemirovsky accurately diagnosed the cause of the pain and recommended a treatment and gradual exercise regimen that took into consideration my schedule and lifestyle.

His treatment not only gave me immediate pain relief, but, also helped build enduring muscular strength and restore flexibility within the areas that were causing the pain after only a few visits.

In addition to his expertise, the beautiful office and friendly staff make this one of my best medical experiences in the city.

Went here for 3 weeks while rehabbing a torn meniscus. Staff and Roland were extremely knowledgeable in treating the injury and improving leg strength. Excellent use and understanding of the modern technology within the sports therapy space right now. Everyone was very accommodating, helpful, and enjoyable to be around. Blows away other offices I have previously been at to heal various injuries and rehab strength. 10/10 all around

This place is awesome. I came in with a sholder injury from lifting. I could'nt put 5 pounds overhead. After a few visits, not only was I able to push weight overhead again, but I was hitting new personal records at the gym. Dr. Nemirovsky really takes his time trying to understand your situation and treat you the best possible way so that you can recover efficiently. I'm a regular now. I highly recommend him.

Dr Nemirovsky is great! He relieved my immediate pain and equipped me with exercises and knowledge to build a stronger foundation and avoid injuries. Dr N really knows what he's doing, listens to feedback, and can quickly adjust to whatever your needs are. Highly recommend.

Having performed surgery for decades my neck
And back have been damaged. I can honestly say that Rachel has kept me functioning at a high level. Nobody else was. Despite being a surgical candidate which is refused to have she managed to overcome all of my problems. The office is also immaculately clean (I am a germaphobe). Chiro in the past was hit or miss. Sometimes it helped and sometimes it actually made things worse. This has never happened with Rachel. I always feel better. Guaranteed. She will bend over backwards to accommodate my schedule. She is a rising star.

The entire staff is very helpful, kind, and extremely efficient. If it wasn't for Dr. Rolland Nemirovsky I strongly feel the bursitis in my shoulder would still be in major pain. If you have shoulder pain, rotator cuff issues, or bursitis don't hesitate, RUN to see this man! I came to Manhattan Sports Therapy skeptical because I had already visited two other physical therapist who were not getting me better. I had pain for 9 months until visiting MST. Nemirovsky was patient with my healing process and was always transparent when telling me what stages I was in my recovery. Now I am fully recovered back to pumping iron and putting on a backpack without pain. Thank you to everyone in that office for making my experience great from start to finish.

I have been seeing Dr. Nemirovsky for 3+ years and 6 marathons and would recommend him to any runner or athlete! He has helped me through several Achilles challenges, including during race week. He is thorough and makes sure to explain what I should do to improve muscle strength and stability to avoid future injuries. Excellent bedside manner. He provides useful training and overall health guidance as well. I think of him as an extension of my marathon training program. Highly recommend!

Dr. Rolland Nemirovsky, the chiropractor, is a really nice and friendly individual; however, he is not a good chiropractor or therapist. He's a lot of talk and not a lot of results.
I had a lot of pain in my left leg. It was a simple athlete injury from over-exercising or overworking the muscles. I was going to Dr. Nemirovsky to help it, but it simply was not improving at all. I went three times and I was still limping. My doctoral friends suggested I go see another chiropractor that they suggested. This other chiropractor was baffled that I had been adjusted two days prior because my hips and shoulders were so unaligned it was practically impossible for a competent chiropractor to have adjusted me correctly two days prior. I went one time to this other chiropractor and my injury significantly improved.
Listen, Manhattan sports has a lot of fancy equipment and Dr. Nemirovsky is a lot of talk (like he says so much to try and make it seem like he knows what he is talking about to the point I was already skeptical after the first session), chiropractic is one of the OLDEST alternative forms of medicine in time. It does not require fancy equipment at all, it simply requires a competent doctor that knows how to readjust your spine.
Dr. Nemirovsky thought it was a long-term process (and I may not know if that is true) but he requires co-payments no matter what insurance you have, so he is just reeling money out of you for as long as possible when you could go to another chiropractor and have the problem solved after 2-3 sessions instead of 4 weeks worth.
Your spine is your core, it's what holds you together. I am a firm believer in chiropractic, but you need to have someone who knows what they're doing.
