Buffet Restaurant Manna's reviews
17The food was sumptuously delicious! The prices were very reasonable. A very good option to try instead of going to Sylvia's all the time!
The walk ways are very small. There is an awesome variety of food here. The food tastes great The staff is friendly and accomodating.
The food was disgusting. Jerk chicken only for dogs to eat. Rice uncooked. Yam's uncooked an full sugar. The only thing worth eating was turkey wings. SAD NASTY

Best food and Experience Ever! They catered my baby shower and not only was the food amazing but the customer service was on point. I would definitely use them again)
Overall, it was a positive experience.
We visited our son, who lives in the neighborhood and his new lady friend and he recommended Manna's very highly. After having our meal there, I also rate it high on my good food-o-meter.
ENDLESS DETAILS BELOW
We found a tremendous spread of traditional soul food (fried chicken, oxtails, BBQ ribs, mac and cheese) with an ample array of lighter America fare (fresh salads, salmon, baked chicken, melon, mashed potatoes). It's not cheap - cheap, but I think you get value for your dollar in the form of tasty, well cooked, appetizing food. It can be as healthy or as self indulgent as you choose.
It's an eat-in or take out buffet. You box your own food then take it up front to get it weighed and paid.
Cold food nearest the bagging area and cashier station on the left as you enter the front door, where you bring your plastic takeout container (s) to be weighed. Steam tables of good looking, wonderful smelling, tasty dishes line each side of the buffet area.
A plastic partition separates the limited dining area from the steam tables on the left where a row of singles tables is sandwiched between the cold food and the left wall.
The one-at-a-time, unisex restroom was clean looking and smelling but doesn't lock from the inside and lacked what to dry your hands with.
It's a colorful neighborhood (street vendors - probably unlicensed, locals milling around) where, on this sunny July Sunday afternoon this seventy something, former New Jersey couple (now 2 years in Delaware) felt relatively safe. Parking is a 'cruise and pray', hit or miss situation.
In fact, if we still lived in Jersey, we would definitely make Manna's a regular stop in our restaurant rotation.

I eat a special diet there, not into fried foods or greasy foods I eat bake chicken, veggies, peas maybe bake turkey wings, Lima beans but it's nothing compared to the soul food restaurants of the 70's.
Decent soul food in buffet format. They take card. The charge was around $9/lb for food, which can be cheap or expensive depending on what you get. Good food if you live in the area but it's not quite special enough to warrant a trip for it if you don't live nearby.
I came all the way from New Jersey and I never been to Harlem and I tell u this food or should I say soul food is tremendous. Keep it up manna. Ok
Great, food everything looks so tasty and appealing. Yummy watch it goes straight to my tummy. Fried chicken, baked chicken, turkey wings, fried fish, homemade macaroni and cheese, homemade corn bread, separate salad section with watermelon slices, devil eggs, cranberry and more. I've been going there for over 25 years this is a clean and healthy establishment.
This place is awesome. Food was great for a buffet style place. Have to wear gloves which I appreciate. I definitely got my more food than I intended. Lol
The food was really amazing and the service was very on point. The start missing is because the place needs to keep up with the cleaning after a customer leaves. My table wasn't at it's best.
The best soul food in Harlem! A great selection of food that you can tell is made with love! Staff are welcoming and I enjoyed everything about my experience.
Great place to pick up some traditional soul food eats. Cafeteria style restaurant where the food is weighed on the scale, so you can get as much as you want or as little.soul food is authentic, it's the real deal, I'd recommend it.
Cheap and plentiful, but not any serious competition for the soul food at Sylvia's. Plus, because it is sold by weight, it does add up at the register. The rice had too much pepper. The rice should be flavorful, but not peppery. The pepper is already in the poultry, fish or meat. Let's leave it that way. No need to improve upon a good thing!
We have gone this place twice.and plan om going again. The food is absolutely superb! Great selection of food for all cultures set up buffet style. Its very busy but check out time is swift and courteous.
The food taste just like I would cook it maybe even better I live in the bx and I come to Harlem to this mamas to eat I live the food everything is fresh taste fresh and looks fresh the place is clean this soul food guess what the bronx has no good soul food places we need one so mamas please think about it until then this is my spot thank you
What can I say about Manna's Soul Food Restaurant, the food is very tasty and flavorful. I always enjoy their menus, stemmed from a variety of choices from their buffet style cuisine. You are surrounded by deserts, sea food, fruit bowls and an array of dishes too numerous to consume! Order out or dine-in at your service!:)
