Maple Glen Family Dentistry, East Amherst NY

I spent the vast majority of my life dreading going to the dentist due to previous negative experiences at other local dentist offices. I recently made the switch over to Maple Glen Family Dentistry this month and I no longer have any fear or hesitation about going. The entire staff is truly INCREDIBLE! They make you feel 100% comfortable and look out for your well being. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.

I love Maple Glen Dentistry! Their staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful! Their hygienist (Shannon) has a welcoming and friendly personality which helps if you get a little nervous, like I do, while at the dentist. She does a wonderful, and very thorough job! Best cleaning I have ever had! Highly recommend!

My entire family were patients at this place. I had a tooth extracted and was set up for an implant. My insurance covered the extraction but not the $1700 for implant set up. I was told that there would be some minor costs after waiting 6-9 months for the spot to heal. After the time period when I went back I was told that my next appointment had an xray that was $895 not covered by my insurance. I questioned at this point how much the rest of the process would cost and was quoted 6k. So with what little the insurance paid and with everything they wanted 8k for one tooth implant. I searched around other dentists in East Amherst and was quoted approx half of their quoted cost including all of them saying the $895 xray was an unnecessary upcharge. I called and spoke with the office manager who assured me the 8000 was the standard cost anywhere and I was mistaken. Today the process was completed and I paid the second dentist in total $2100 out of pocket to complete the process, making my total cost $3800, not 8k.
Be very wary of what your insurance will cover because they will attempt to take you to the cleaners at this place. Absolutely shameful and embarrassing business practices.

I had my first appt at Maple Glen this week, and was lucky enough to have Shannon as my dental hygienist. She was beyond happy, friendly and wonderful the entire time. I have actually never been into any office where everyone was as happy and friendly as the staff here. Their equipment was state of the art and honestly, I have never seen anything like the equipment they used in any of the dentists offices I have been in over the years. I would highly recommend Maple Glen, to anyone looking for a great dental experience.

This old guy has had plenty of dentists in 60 years. Dr. Jackie is by far the best I’ve had and my family of 6 loves her practice. Yesterday’s cleaning I asked for a crown replacement. She was able to squeeze me in today for a one-visit crown fabrication/install, all in a single day. If your dentist doesn’t have the ability to do this, they are not investing in the practice. To me, this is just an example of a Dentist who understands how people value their convenience and time. Both hygienist were also awesome both days. If I could give 6 stars I would have.

If I could give Dr. Jackie and her crew more than 5 stars I would! Best dentist ever and the most beautiful office. I always leave smiling. If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Maple Glen Family Dentistry.

Very accommodating to my schedule and extremely professional practice. They were extremely helpful when my mom required assistance in her later years with Alzheimer's. Dr. Jackie and the staff went well out of their way to help her as much as they could. Outstanding practice.

Just moved to the area and heard great things about Dr. Jackie. They werent wrong. The office is easy to get to, plenty of parking. The office itself is super comfortable and welcoming. First appointment was very thorough, including cancer screening and take home fluoride treatment. Seems I need 3 crowns but I could easily see the issues so not unexpected. They provided an upfront quote and pricing was very reasonable. Everyone was helpful, caring, and obviously intent on providing a high level of comfortable, quality dental care. Have been back again since the original work was completed, and still. Would highly recommend!

I have to say, Shannon & Dr Jackie & all of the ladies in this office are truly phenomenal! Shannon tells you everything she’s about to do, why she’s doing it, explains the benefits & is such a sweetheart! Made my appointment a very fun time! Dr Jackie is definitely unlike any other dentist I’ve ever had! The way these people care for you & don’t immediately go to drilling & filling. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

As a new patient to the office the staff was very helpful with the registration and record transfer process. They are friendly and welcoming when you arrive and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to navigating the insurance process. All procedures have been a very comfortable and pain free process. So happy to be a patient in the practice.

I love this office! Not only are they kind and helpful, but they are efficient and professional. We always feel like part of the family and not just a number. They remember our names and little things about us. Such service!
