10Honest review not a great place for your kids just go to browne playground its much closer and cleaner maple has alot of gamblers at the entrances smokers everywhere and drug dealers in the basketball courts but I still go there because I used to go there as a child
This park is horrible! Many men smoking and gambling inside the park. I contacted the mayor's office about it and nothing has been done.
It us a nivmce littke pkay ground but its not the ckanest I seen Another small issue is that most of the tables are in tge front and no wgere else. Also there isnt enough lights. Besides that its goid place for kids to exercise in the morning or when there is daylight.
Sometimes going to skydive mall I would by pass this with my friends, and then after done going to skydive mall my friends had spare time so we decided to play tag and stuff here, enjoyable time

Extremely dirty, probably the most disgusting playground in NYC. You can smell the piss a few yards away from the bathroom. Also too small for such a big population. Expansion and renovation needed ASAP.
Maple playground is not very hygienic.it is very dirty.especially the bathroom.found few marijuana buds.and could smell it while on the playground.often found broken alcohol glasses.not yet a needle.few homeless people laying around and occupying the benches.when the water fountain/sprinklers is on it floods the park for days.even when it rain it floods and stays.it habitats mosquitoes and all forms of insects that aren't safe for children.currently broken swings and unsafe slides.floor mats are worn out and rotten. PLEASE CLEAN UP REPLACE/REPAIR THE PLAYGROUND.
Irritating, most of the parents don't keep a proper eye on their kids. At one point, some old guy walks through the kids area, hawks and spits.
Best local playground in Flushing! Needs more. Police presence though because of people smoking marijuana and homeless people that are drunk that go around harassing others.
