Margaritaville - Syracuse

HORRIBLE experience. 5pm, I waited at the front for 10 minutes with my 2 kids, no host/hostess. After 10 minutes, I went to the bar and asked if it was too late to get a table. The bartender replied "no, I will get someone to seat you". Ok! Great!

Except I waited another 5 minutes before anyone showed up. My waiter took our orders, drinks, an appetizer and meals. He brought us our drinks. Ok! Great!

After 20 minutes, our meals came. I asked, "what about the appetizer? "

"I'm not even gonna lie to you. I forgot".

Ok. No problem! Things happen.we're all human.

Eating our dinner.waiter didn't check on us. My son needed a refill.couldn't find him anywhere.finished the meal (food was "acceptable"). Still no waiter.or refill. Asked for check, brought me check.waited another 10 minutes.no waiter.

Went to bar to pay the bill. My generation is a lot different. When I was a waitress I worked hard for good tips. I reluctantly left him 3 bucks and left. Horrible customer service. Will never go there again.

Unfortunately the hype wasn't worth the bill. Visited Destiny Mall location in Syracuse NY and just wasn't impressed.

My wife my son and I stopped in today for lunch, my wife and I have been here before and we had a good experience last time stopping in. Today that was not the case. They didn’t have half of their menu items available because they were “out” of them. There wasn’t even a cheeseburger available. Should have gotten up and walked out at that point. But decided to move forward and order something else. I ordered the appetizer trio, and my wife ordered a teriyaki chicken and shrimp, she didn’t like her food at all, the chicken was rubbery as she put it. My appetizer trio 2 out of the three food items were hardly edible. The chicken tenders were about rock solid on the inside and the chicken egg rolls were not nearly as good as expected. Sat there for over an hour spent almost 60 dollars and walked out very unsatisfied in every way shape or form.

Arrived and were told it was cash only at 7PM. Went down two floors to an atm and by the time we came back up it was a 20m wait. We said fine, and the girl just turned away. I had to get her attention to tell her to actually take our information down since we were waiting. Then after she wrote it down on paper she proceeded to just reach down and get nail clippers and sat there clipping her nails. Her total disinterest pretty much convinced us we would never get called in 20m and went elsewhere.

Stop for lunch week before Christmas, wife ordered a cheeseburger with fries, I ordered an appetizer beer and soda for the wife.wife found will look to be a small piece of hard plastic in burger, needless to say she was done, and I got some type of a seafood platter with three fish sticks, about seven shrimp The size of a quarter on top of french fries. With honey, mustard sauce, tartar, sauce, and some western Santa Fe dip it was a seafood platter, not a mixed appetizer that I ordered. Waitress wanted to get me the right order but by that point my wife would’ve been done before I even got my order. I normally don’t do reviews. But don’t go in there with any expectations of having a good lunch $55 plus tip waste of money.

Overpriced and overcooked food. Long wait for the food but probably due to staff shortage which is understandable. Wait staff was nice but also aloof and didn’t seem to care when we complained the food was over cooked. Just go elsewhere.

Veggie burger was cooked to oblivion, was it a disc of food? Technically yes. Few fries scattered on a plate as a side. Just a below-average meal for above-average price. Atmosphere lacking. Just blah. Veggie burger and fried pickles are only things without meat.

The worst restaurant ever. Food took forever and was very bland. Save your time and your money and go elsewhere.

Stopped here for a quick drink while looking around the mall. Sarah was our bartender and was amazing and a great upseller, lol - she needs a raise! Glad we stopped by!

This place is a mess. After one issue I get it, people have off days and mistakes happen. But mistake after mistake after mistake really threw me and my group for a loop.half my party arrived about 10 minutes before our other half showed up. The waitress seemed to be in a rush to get us drinks, and kept coming back every minute to see if we were ready. When our second half showed up we ordered drinks quickly. We asked immediately to have everyone on separate checks and were told that no problem at all. When our drinks were brought out multiple of them were wrong and not what was ordered. It was fixed relatively fast. But this is where the quick and fast paced service ended. We ended up waiting 20 minutes for our server to come back to take our food orders. When they came back we ordered appetizers and our meals. Now typically when I order appetizers they show up before our entres. We waited another 35 minutes before our food came out with the appetizers. We had been at this restaurant for over an hour at this point. Our table ate our food quickly we were so hungry. Our food was luke warm and the appetizers were cold. The food was really delicious I will compliment that. But absolutely not worth the price on the menu. My entre and single appetizer with a water for one person set me back roughly $40 not with the tip. We waited for our server to come back with the checks. And waited. And waited. They finally showed up with our checks. And they had combined everyone’s orders and had us paying evenly for each other. My check was a full $15 more than I was expecting because of this. We were not happy and the server told us “it’s okay because it’s all separate checks”. We said no and asked for it to be fixed and we pay for what we bought. It took two people to fix the issue and we waited another 30 darn minutes. When we finally got everything paid for an could get out of the restaurant we had been there over two hours. And this restaurant was not busy by any means. Less than half full I’d say. This place was not worth our time and took almost half our time we wanted to spend at the mall. Go to PF Chang’s or something.

Brought my grandsons from NC to see their dad and decided to go to the mall. My son knows I love this place (I go every time I come up) so he treated me. WORST FOOD I EVER HAD THERE. (We always try the food before goving to the boys ages 2 & 3) Got tenders and juice for the boys. I had my drink:) and instead of a kids meal she brought an adult meal. The fries were hardly warm and definitely not fresh. The tenders were a little warmer but not hot. You could tell they had been setting. Definitely will rethink going back there in the future!

Waitress was great, appetizer was good. Seafood combo was absolutely terrible. The worst one I've ever had actually. I was given a small discount but really didn't want to pay at all. DO NOT ORDER SEAFOOD.

Very nice place. According to my girlfriend, one of the best Pina coladas she's ever tried.

I'm giving it 3 stars because first off when we arrived we stood in the front waiting for someone to sit us. After about 5 minutes we sat ourselves. Following behind us was a very rude waitress/hostess. She hollered at us with an attitude and like we couldn't hear.

2nd, the food was ok except part of my food that made me sick to my stomach. I caught food poisoning right after eating there. My family and I will not be dinning here anymore.

P. S. The waiter with the curled mustache was really pleasant.

Stop for lunch drinks were cold food was good but the waitress, Sandee was fantastic. Very engaged and was making sure we had what we wanted we'd go again just to see if she was there!

As much as I want to give this a good review I just cant.the food is good the margaritas are better but observing the employees was something different. Saturday 8/6/22 we are at the mall and decide to get some dinner at Margaritaville. The hostess was no where to be found when we arrived. Other staff members were yelling for her so We sat ourselves at the bar. Ordered our drinks and food and enjoyed our conversations with the Bartender, Anna. But our server. Why did she not cash us out on one of the registers at the bar? I thought it was odd she disappeared to the back to cash out our check. Today I find a $100 charge on my bank statement showing a transfer to Venmo!
After listening to other employees complain about how other associates are not held countable there is defiantly a management problem here!

A great spot for food at Destiny USA. They have plenty of options for seafood, regular and hot sandwiches, great appetizers, an extensive margarita and cocktail menu, and anything else you might want! The staff was very friendly, and we had a great time

It was horrible, food tasted ok. The service was slow all the workers seemed stoned or drunk and would forget things. I would not go again.

I really enjoy taking my kiddo here, fish tacos are great however I wish there were better side options. Have a great drink here and chill.

Unfortunately, not the best place for any real dining. The menu doesn't have much to offer and while the server did exceptionally well she was obviously stretched thin. This location also seems to have a ton of wasted space.
