My review starts off with a beautiful winter day, I needed some hot chocolate to make this day perfection so of course I headed to market 32 on route 20 and 155 to fulfill my needs. But as I parked my lambo in the parking space furthest from the entrance (because I drive a Lamborghini) and stuck my foot out of the door I felt a pain shoot through my ankle. I looked down and to my surprise there was a tooth pick plunged into my skin and without another seconds notice more and more toothpicks began to shoot into my lower leg! I fought through the pain and looked underneath my super expensive and nice car to see about a hundred eyes staring back at me. GOBLINS! I tried to run but the itty bitty green goblins chased me down by playing almost competitive leap frog, they tied me down and began to drag me towards the cart rack. I know why they’re doing this! I didn’t bring my cart back last visit, they were the cart rack goblins. But as I neared the rack I heard the sweet melody of Ice Spice and as I looked up I saw a huge burly man (who by the way is now my love interest) running towards me. He drop kicked the entire board of cart rack goblins into space and then untied me and helped me up. He explained to me that his name was Anthony Colloton and he had just went on his break. I truly believe without this man I would still be underneath the cart rack being fiddled with by hundreds of cart rack goblins. FIVE STARS!

Big market. Produce and meat are hit or miss, but they have a huge selection generally, big bakery, lots of options. Decent service, plenty of check out clerks.

Clean store with a variety of quality products at a reasonable cost. We are now familiar with product locations within the store, so shopping is fast and friendly.

Jacky did my wedding centerpieces and bouquet. They came out amazing. We got so many compliments on them and everyone wanted to know where we got them from.

Newly renovated store previously Price Chopper. Very clean and friendly staff, but prices not as low as Walmart. Their salads are great!

Could not find specialty items that the Pittsfield store has; linguica, Sriracha, schezwan sauce, glass noodles for example. Otherwise a great place to shop!

You know how when you don't want a dog anymore, you throw a ball and drive away as it goes to fetch it? That's what I did, but instead of a dog it was my 4 year old son. I couldn't stand him. I know I sound like a bad father, but I just wasn't ready to have kids back then. Everyday, for the past two decades, I have regretted that decision. Mostly because the ball I threw was the one I caught at Yankee Stadium back in 1994, but also because I knew what a failure to my son I was. Well, two decades later, I go back and see a lot has changed. For starters, it is now called Market 32 and not Price Chopper. Another thing that changed was the staff. As I walk in looking for dinner, I notice an employee that looks so familiar. I approach him, my knees shaking. "Are you my seed? " I ask. He turns to me, his eyes glow as they lock with mine. "D-Dad? " He sputters out. I can't control myself at this point. I lunge forward and give him the biggest hug I have ever given. It only lasted a few seconds, but it felt like an eternity. It felt like all those years I missed with him were brought back to me. All those days thinking about him lead to this. I pull away and ask "How did this happen? Who made you the man you are today? " His arm extends and he points to an employee. I walk over to this hero and introduce himself. His name was Anthony Colloton. As we talk, I learned that he took my son in the day he raised him. He taught him how to scavenge for food, shoot a gun, and fix the self-checkout machine.

Anthony, I don't know if you will ever read this, but thank you. Thank you for fixing my family. Every single day since we were reunited I have spent with my son. Market 32 changed me.

They also have great chicken.

Never a terrible experience. There are a lot of new employees and some seem to not really care about their jobs, but overall, what can you expect during these times. I’d rather shop here than any big box store. It’s always clean and I never have to worry about being bothered.

The other I was strolling the aisle as I do on any typical wednesday (my grocery shopping day) and I tripped over lose merchandise likely dropped by another customer and my left common illiach and there blood everywhere, i’ve never been in pain and terror in my entire 53 years on this Earth. When I tell you that Anthony Colloton is the best grocery store employee (specifically the Market 32 franchise; formerly price chopper) I am far from lying. Anthony was on the scene like a fly on feces, he jumped into action calling 911 and stayed with me calming me down and helping me with comic book small talk; and in 53 years i’ve never smiled more than waited for EMS to arrive. Anthony is also great at helping when the self checkout machines don’t work properly. Market 32 has great pre-heated Chicken Fingers.

I shop here all of the time. It's generally a fine store but whatever you do DON'T BUY THE "COLD" CHICKEN TENDERS! On at least 3 occasions, the ones that I bought were completely dried out and totally inedible! Yuk! Total waste of $$$.

Great price chopper, usually very clean, produce section is great. Our first time going the check out was amazing! (Quick, friendly, bagged perfectly) but now it's been slacking.in our opinion.

It is surely quite a few teenagers / young adults working who like to chat&talk more than scan groceries or bag efficiently/quickly. I want the workers to have fun especially being younger workers and enjoy their jobs, but also be able to bag our groceries (if there's a bagger there.) we usually try to find the check outs that don't have baggers now.

My significant other and I put items on the belt by what department they're in (ie: produce all with produce, grocery all with grocery) to make the bagging easier and also easier for us to put away, for it then all to get mixed together or put not evenly throughout the bags (ie: an entire grocery trip was split between only two bags when we provide usually around 7 bags each trip)

It's not a big thing, but enough to make an impression, bagging shouldn't be a complicated task for most. Like stated, I dont mind them having fun and talking, but make sure it's also appropriate conversation to have infront of customers (it's usually not.there's been a few times ive wanted to speak up saying that it isnt an appropriate conversation to be having infront of customers, but i dont want to upset them.) and make sure to still do your job efficiently.

Other than that, it's usually stocked well. The produce section is great!

Great store until you check out. The cashiers give you anxiety between being bag natzies and stressing whats under your cart. Now i know they have a job to do but can i at least empty my cart first, waand the bag thing good god chil the hell out relax a lil its a CHEAP. 5 cent bag that the state should be paying for since it was there idea for them, we never payed for plastic shopping bags?

This rating is for the horrible service when checking out. There are registers open - no one in line except for one - all employees except for one are talking, leaning over the ends talking. I go to the only one who is ready to ring out customers. I place my bags at the end. He starts ringing out my few items. As I’m checking out and finish paying my cashier asks if I need help bagging - I said does market 32 now not bag for customers? He said when there’s people to help - I turned and he’s tired to the gaggle of employees talking at the register be hind me - he says yeah and there’s that. So a shout out to the only kid working the front end - no manager in sight or anyone who would look like management to address the lack of help. Amazing to me. I bagged my grocery’s and as I walked by the huddle of non working employees- not one of them said have a good day - Hannaford here I come
