Pizza Restaurant Marta reviews
The two fireplace middle of the kitchen and the opened kitchen inside the bar makes me feel stuned. Burning woods makes the taste of pizza better, but actually I am not a pizza person so I couldn't tell it well.
We have zucchini pizza and asparagus pizza. They remove the stain of American cuisine which is greasy and unhealthy. Very healthy taste. 1 pizza for 2 person is too small, 1 pizza for 1 person is bit large. Oh, and waiter recommend us galric Nots but I didn't like it because its just a fried doe chunk and nearly smell like garlic.
There are many beer on the tab, IPA is mild and fruity and sour beer is like belgium creek. Nice mood and service was very good.
This has got to be our favorite pizza place in NYC so far. It is so hard to find good Italian pizza with wafer thin crusts and just the right flavors; and Marta delivers!
Their pizzas are 12” personal size were just right for us and left room for dessert.
I highly recommend the stracciatella pizza if you’re a margarita lover. It has all the ingredients of the margarita but is elevated with olio verde olive oil. I added mince garlic for a kick and it did not disappoint.
Their tiramisu is decadent and is served in a cup. The wife didn’t like that it didn’t have enough of a coffee flavor but the pudding like setup made it just right for us.
Marta is spectacular. We have been visiting Marta since before the Pandemic and were so happy to see them finally re-open. Truly a different experience with some of the best thin-crust pizza around. The vibe is second to none and it sits across from the beautiful Rose Hill condominium, Rockefeller Group's first resi-condo in Manhattan!
The food is extraordinary. Great atmosphere. Their pizzas are amazing. My favorite pizzas were the all meats and margherita.
One of my favorite places to dine in NYC. I’ve tried most of the menu, and the food is always great. The service is so thorough; every time I’ve been I’ve had an all around amazing experience.
Roman pizza is Devine. Brined chicken and arctic char were perfect. Salads and chicken meatballs were wonderful. Great spot.
The pizza here is simply fantastic. Went for the pepperoni and was NOT disappointed. Love the thin crust! Service is good. Vibe is friendly and vibrant but not too noisy. Highly recommended.
Great place for a pleasant dinner. The thin crust pizza was delicious and appetizing. It's probably best to share a pie among a number of friends as the last slices tend to get cold if they sit on the table for too long. The arancini were very good appetizers, and there was a solid beer and wine selection. The fact that gratuity is included is another great feature of this place. It makes you feel like all the staff are willing to help.
Overrated. I had terrible service with my family. And as an Italian citizen, the pizza didn't achieve my Italian expectations.
It's a big, bright airy room. Tables are not crammed on top of each other so there is plenty of personal space. Ate at the bar. They make proper cocktails, including pisco sours and other less common drinks.
Ordered the margherita pizza with sopressato. It was the ideal of what pizza should be! Thin crust, a little char on the edges, enough toppings to complement but not overwhelm the thin crust. Bravo!
No tipping here - service is baked into the menu price.
Excellent service, went on Valentine's day and were well attended to. Beautiful large open dining room with two levels. Pizzas we're delicious (Carbonara and Mushroom pizzas). Highly recommend and hope to be back soon. Joe was an excellent server.
Great thin crust pizza! Cocktails and wines are outstanding! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable - a testament to Danny Meyer's training!
So many pies, so many reasons to go back. Don't sleep on the Ravoli either. Salad portions were beyond generous.
The best salmon I ever tasted and great portion size. Although I'm not a fan of the presentation of the place, I prefer a good portion size more than anything and the food tasted good!
Love the pizza oven, love the high ceilings, love the decor, and the device! Their mushroom pizza is to die for
Very solid place. The duck confit was extraordinary. Will definitely come back despite the higher prices.
Had a craving for pizza tonight and found this lively venue right near our Hitel. The place has a nice vibe to it and the reviews were right. The food was great but the service from our server Garrett.was amazing. He was just so lovely and attentative. Made our night. Thanks guys especially Garrett.
Delicious, a good lunch spot, was buzzing. Love the interiors and the ambiance. Staff are great and helpful.
Came here for lunch and had a delicious feast! Every appetizer and pizza we had was delicious, only to be followed by a great dessert as well (I had the tiramisu). We also split a bottle of rose. I also really like the “no-tipping” concept —- it makes everything so much easier!
Pizzas were ok but way too thin. You're better of buying tortillas and putting tomatoe sauce and cheese and making it at home. The bufala mozzarella pizza was good but overall still needed a little more dough.
