Martha's Country Bakery reviews
28Pistachio ice cream is really good. You can really taste the flavor of pistachio. Cake is also good.
Fantastic place. The music was phenomenal, the food SO varied and delicious and the service top notch. Absolutely loved it -will come back
My favourite! There's 2 bakeries so try them both out. Their 3 layered chocolate cake is god sent. This place is nice and immaculate inside. My sis goes to Brooklyn every week for their banana crème pie. This place is pretty awesome.
I just don’t understand the hype, I guess. I ordered a slice of chocolate cake and was not impressed. The staff is kind and they always have weekly specials.
My family and I love Martha's Country Bakery. We buy all our birthday cakes from there. We also go there just to get a slice of cake.
Great cakes- we ate the Apple crumb pie, caramel mousse and NY cheese cake. The coffee was tasty as well. Good service
Melt in your mouth deliciousness, downright unfair to dieters. Just now overheard at the next table: “I’m going back on my diet plan tomorrow. ” Coffee is top notch, so much so I sought out their exact source, which cannot be had, except at full price. They even have weekday specials you just don’t see in NYC. This morning’s special was coffee with a choice of pastry, and mine was a huge cheese danish.for $2.95. It should be on everyone’s to do list in Brooklyn, even at full price.
OMG delicious Fresh large portions bring an appetite hot hocolate has 5 different flavors mmmm banana cream pie is soooooo good
We had a blast went we visited back in July! I really miss my home (New York City Born!) I wish they had some locations down in Florida but I can’t wait to visit again on our next return trip!
I always take friends from out of town to this place so we can stare at the sweet deliciousness and be annoyingly indecisive for the polite staff until we finally pick something. The variety is notable as there's just so many good treats to choose from. Try the eclair, no wait, the berry Napoleon, no wait, apple pie. You know what? Try the tiramisu cheesecake.
This place is amazing! A whole restaurant dedicated to deserts? And, the choices are endless. You cannot be disappointed. They have an even larger place elsewhere in Brooklyn. Highly recommend this place for deserts and coffee or hot cocoa.
I hate the prices but love the food and drinks! I like that u can sit in and enjoy your treats and their hours of operation are convenient! Service is usually pretty on point too!
I live in Queens, so I usually go to the original Martha’s in Astoria, but this one in Williamsburg is super-handy whenever I’m in Brooklyn! It’s brand-new inside and everything tastes amazing (just like the original).
Good cakes and great staff: we went every morning for breakfast during our stay in Brooklyn and we found new great tastes each time.
I went with a group of 5 to stay.let’s just say we had to go take a look of what they sell ourselves because one of the waitresses was unaware of what they have
Pies are immensely sugary and not tasty. The dough and crumbs are fully soggy. It was over-microwaved. Prices are higher when you get it to stay which you don't find out until you get the check. Also very expensive.
This place is amazing I went with a coworker after work in the area and was amazed and excited at the variety of decadent choices. Tommy was the sweetest I had mentioned in passing to my coworker how I grew up with never trying a rainbow cookie and it being one of my moms fav cookie and he (Tommy) gave us a free sample.and that was my 1st time trying a Rainbow Cookie and it will not be my last.thanks Tommy for being a sweetheart
Btw there cheesecakes ARE DELISH!
Endless sumptuous deserts available here, a local and tourist fave for Williamsburg. Cheesecakes to die for. Daily specials like $2.00 pie. Don't miss it, magical spot.
All sorts of cakes and cookies, great for the person that has a sugar tooth. There is seating available to enjoy your purchase.
