Marty's Camera Repair, Queens NY

Small family owned shop. The owner checked my camera and lens and honestly gave his opinion. Very humble and helpful. They charged minimum for clean up and factory reset. They sell lenses and camera, new and used. If you can not fix your old lens or camera anywhere, please visit this place. I am sure they will find some parts and solutions and will fix it.

I visited this store recently, its nice to find a place that sells film in Queens and not have to go out to Brooklyn or Manhattan. If there is a place that sells film or film cameras, I have been to it. KM is a popular place to go to for film and film cameras, my experience there has always felt rushed and at times rude. You have to know exactly what you want and then leave. My experience at Camera Repair was totally different. Robert, who manages the store was nothing but friendly and welcoming when I entered the store. He showed me extra accessories for my TLR that I couldn't have found or asked for at other stores. It was a real pleasure to come to a location with someone who loves and wants to share their passion for photography as much as Robert does. I will only be visiting this store from now on for my film needs. I highly recommend it for its exemplary customer service. I can't speak to previous reviews about repairs, perhaps ownership changed hands, but this place is worth the visit.

I dropped of my digital Canon camera for a simple repair when i didn't get a call i visited the shop and was told that the camera was lost and they can replace it and charge me $300.00 giving me a camera that was way substandard than my camera, this is crazy, I think this guy is taking people's stuff and sell them, Marty was never like that always could be trusted.
