Dr. Mason is kind, patient, efficient, hard working, empathetic, thorough, and very caring. She treats the whole person, not just the pain symptoms! As long as you follow her protocols, which are very straightforward and fair…you should have zero issues or complaints. I’ve been a satisfied patient for many years now (about 4 or 5), and never once have I had any reason to doubt or mistrust her…and I think it goes both ways. I believe we have a great doctor-patient relationship, and I feel nothing but respect for, and from, her. She works hard and cares hard for her patients. For example. Even when I got COVID last year and couldn’t come for my appointment, she went above and beyond to make sure I still got my medication, as long as I followed guidelines and provided her with proof of a valid positive COVID test, of course. Like I said, she is very fair and will do whatever she can to work with you…especially if you hold up your end of the deal. She truly cares, and I always look forward to my monthly visits with her as she’s so pleasant to talk to…she definitely invests 100% in her patients! It’s simple…as it should be with any good doctor: Don’t miss your appointments, especially more than once. Don’t mess up your medication. Don’t disrespect her or any staff she might have. Don’t abuse the system or yourself. Follow through on instructions or requests. Do those things consistently, honor your agreement with her…and you’ll be happy and very thankful to be in her care! I know I am!

I initially contacted them in February of 2021 with a referral from my primary. The receptionist told me that I would need current imaging done before she could schedule an appointment. I then scheduled and attended an appointment with an orthopedic specialist on 3/8/21, had X-rays and MRI completed, went to PT 2-3 times weekly, had f/u appointment with ortho regarding imaging results on 4/28/21, had another referral sent over from said orthopedic specialist, and they still refused to make an appointment. They receptionist proceeded to reset the goal posts, stating that I needed to have 6 months of medical documentation that states I've been treated for the specific issue and it has not helped. I was treated as if I didn't have a legitimate cause of pain. In the end I told the receptionist that I would contact my primary for a referral elsewhere to which the receptionist stated, and I quote, "I'll be sure to note that for when you call back and want help. " As for the doctor, she could be a Saint however, getting through the nut bag receptionist is near impossible. That is my experience any way.
