Master Rivera and the amazing staff at Irondequoit are top notch. My son started in tiny tigers and I came back to Taekwondo after taking a 16 year hiatus. Now my son and I both get to do the family classes together and we have a blast doing so. I have nothing but great things to about Master Kim’s Taekwondo and all the staff and what my son and I are learning each time we come to class.

Our son has been with Master Kim’s irondiquoit since he was 3 and a half in the tiny tigers program (since he started they changed the age to 4) and they were so amazing with him. He was a little young but they found his learning style and worked with him individually to help encourage him to follow along with the group. Then one day, shortly after he turned 4, it just clicked! He’s now 6, and an advanced green belt! We love Master Rivera and all the teachers there and would recommend them to anyone looking to start their kids, or adults!

The instructors do an amazing job working with my daughter and she looks forward to the classses every time!

Today I received my green belt and I couldn’t be happier. I’m In my 50s! I am taking classes with my teenager and we are both loving it. If I can do it, anyone can. The instructors are able to teach skills and movement to all ages and capabilities. No day is ever the same so you’ll never get bored with it. It’s a great way to exercise, move your body in new ways, build strength and have fun pushing yourself. If you’re one of the parents considering sending your child here, I personally invite you to consider taking the classes yourself! You’ll be amazed at what you can do!

Since joining Master Kim’s TaeKwonDo we have noticed many positive changes in our son. We owe a lot of this to the positive influence of the amazing instructors that help empower and lift him up, inside and outside of TaeKwonDo.

We went to see our godson's Advanced Red Belt Test. The place is clean. Master Kim explained each step to the audience. Each student was encouraged and their efforts were recognized.
