Everything was done professionally with class from the moment i contacted them until the burial. My mom was buried with the dignity of a queen thanks to Matthews funeral home. I am still receiving calls saying the the funeral was done perfectly. They are truly the best.

When my dad passed away, Matthew’s Funeral Home provided a great service for him. Chris was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect.

We are from Florida and had an unexpected death in Staten Island not knowing where to turn we contacted Matthew funeral home, they were exceptional we didn't have to worry about anything. I usually do not write reviews but after receiving the high level of service and professionalism at Matthew's I felt compelled to share my experience. Recently my 96 year old grandfather passed away. He lived a long fruitful life filled with family and friends. Last week he left this world also surrounded by family. There is something to be said for operating a family owned business such as Matthew's as most business' today are purchased or run by large corporations. Michael and his team tend to each and every family in an experienced and heartfelt way that cannot be duplicated. Thank you Michael and team for all of your support during this difficult time.

This is an amazing place that honors your beloved with true respect. I am a southern boy from New Orleans and my father-in-law passed away at 92. He was a retired FDNY Captain. The professionalism of the establishment and personnel is like no other. The personal touches such as: such as stopping at his house on the way to the cemetery, the funeral director getting out of his car, saying a prayer then placing a single rose on the door step. The amazing gentlemen in long black coats who carried him in his casket, on their shoulders, is something I had never seen before. The way they placed the cars in line for you for the procession really stood out. I cannot recommend this establishment enough, truly a class act.
