PLEASE READ WHOLE POST- My family and I used to be loyal customers at the Rt 57 location until recently over the past 6 months. I was hoping the issues were just flukes, but tonight I gave this location the final chance. I called the Rt57 location at exactly 5: 28pm tonight, 21 January 2020. I noticed/heard an audible air leak from my rear passenger tire. I called and spoke to an employee immediately, and asked how much it would be to re-seat my tire, as I thought I broke bead. I asked if they could help me out if I could make it in by 5: 40 at the latest. I was told QUOTE "I close in ten minutes, so no. " [meaning 5: 38/5: 40, twenty minutes before closing time]. I asked "Don't you close at 6? " I was told "yeah, but I'm closing in ten minutes and I'm sending my guy home. We can't help you here and we're not staying late. Try calling our other location and see if they'll help you out. " I began questioning why they'd close early or not help a paying customer during normal operating hours, but became frustrated and didn't even bother wasting my time with someone so rude.

I called THIS location at 404 Oswego Rd (near Old Liverpool Rd) at 5: 32 and spoke to Rob I believe. I told him the same situation about the air leak, and he said "come on in, we will be sure to take care of you before you get home. " I show up as quickly as possible at 5: 42, and was met by 3 smiling faces and professional men willing to help. The manager Joe, and Assistant Manager Larry, and Shop Worker Rob were INCREDIBLE. I learned that Joe has been with the company for over 28 years, dating back even to the Cole Muffler days. Turns out I had a nail in my tire. All three men worked together to remove the nail, remove my tire, patch the hole and seal it up, reseat my tire, AND re-balance within 16 minutes. I walked out of the shop with a safe, reliable wheel thanks to these men and their professionalism and willingness to help. I am so grateful. Go to the Old Liverpool location instead of 57. Joe, Larry, and Rob will get you well on your way with the highest service and professionalism.

A convenient location to take our vehicles, within walking distance. They do a good job there. Will continue to patronize them.

Needed replacement snow tires mounted onto rims and needed them done before a road trip to Maryland. After researching online I found that you could schedule a convenient appointment via the website. I picked the convenient time and planed my day around it. Showed up for my appointment and the place was swamped. Despite having appointment I was notified my manager that it would be a long wait and I should just drop my car off. So I arranged for a ride home and plans were shot.
I got a ride to drop me back off at 3: 30.well before their 5 o’clock closing time. Upon arrival I noticed my car in the bay jacked up with old snow tires on the car? I wanted New tires mounted. Manager noticed too and had the tech take the tires back off and put the new rubber on. Since it was close to closing time they had to rush the job.
My summer tires and rims fit nicely in my trunk and I did a few errands driving around with new tires, returned home, and checked the torque on lugnuts myself. Took my old tires out of the trunk, put them in my garage, and got car ready for road trip. It wasn’t too far down the road on my way to Maryland when the TPMS illuminated because it lost contact with the tires in my garage. The tech at Mavis never reset the TPMS sensors. My receipt says they performed the work, it was never done.
While service performed at this location is entirely questionable - the Federal Himalayan Iceoo tires I got are pretty awesome. Had no problem driving highway speed in freezing rain.
I’m Not going back, feeling a bit shamboozled this time around.

Made an appointment Wednesday for Saturday morning. I show up ten minutes early for said appointment, they tell me "come back tomorrow, too many walk-ins. " I planned my whole weekend around this getting done Saturday morning, now I'm screwed. Why even offer the option to make an appointment if you're not going to honor it?

Brought car in for an inspection and oil change. Was told the tie rod needed to be replaced in order to pass inspection so had that done too. Shortly after, we noticed oil spots in the driveway. Brought it to our usual shop to have it checked to find out the oil cap was not put on properly causing the leak. Also found out the tie rod was never greased when installed which would have caused more problems if it wasn't discovered. Ended up having to pay someone else to take care of Mavis's mistakes. Will never return.

I would be wary of getting work done here. They use brute force to work on cars sometimes causing more problems. I had warranty work done at a dealership and they gave me a listing of things that may need fixing and everyone knows dealers are always looking to make more money. This place lured me in with low prices and after work was done all these new problems popped up that weren't even on the dealership's list. BUYER BEWARE!

Best tire shop ever! Friendly vipes and great service! Tim, the manager, is an amazing person. Very helpful and super friendly.
I went there for tire mounting, and I got help cleaning my rims from old paint. Yes, that is how friendly they are! Amazing experience. I will definitely come back there, and recommend this place for anyone.

Friendly staff. Willing to work with you when needed where they can. Although a chain I have found them to be one of the more reliable shops in town.

I made an appointment with them to get my car inspected. I show up to my appointment and apparently the inspection machine is down. So I call the manager. He tells me to go to Valvoline. This will be the last time I ever bring my vehicle to Mavis. Very disappointed in the lack of professional service.

I had a good experience in the branch in the past and again now, they recommended good tires to me and explained the service very well

Had a confirmed appointment to have my vehicle inspected. Appointment set and confirmed by the shop I was going to and to only be told the day of appointment only to be told they have no inspectors working. Not tell me at the time they couldn't schedule me but for me to show up on time for my appointment just to be told it's not happening. I'll never use this shop again and now I have to go more time without being able to have my vehicle inspected.

I picked out tires online and made an appointment and scheduled my day around not having a car on a Saturday morning. When I arrived there at my appointment time, the guy behind the counter told me that they did not have my tires in stock because the website does not check that. He told me I could either wait 5 days for their delivery truck to drop them off or he said he could install tires that day. He tried to upsell me to purchase tires that were $150 more expensive than the ones I wanted to buy. I told him I would think about it and call them back. He gave me the store business card and told me not to call anybody else. I called the Mavis down the road near John Glenn and they sent a guy to pick the tires up for me on the next business day. I would definitely recommend trying to that other location over this one.

Rude, rude, rude- guy behind counter showed no ownership of his business. I ordered tires on line, drove 45 minutes to store, only to be told that they didn't have the tires. He stated that, "I don't know why THEY would have sold you tires that I don't have. " MAN-UP! It's your business!
