I normally don’t write reviews concerning auto repairs, but the manager of the East Northport Mavis (Eric) deserves to be recognized. Eric not only made me feel comfortable with all of my repairs (tires, brakes, oil change, inspection), but he is a genuinely nice guy who communicates openly and clearly and leaves you feeling confident in the work that’s been done. I will definitely be returning to this location for future repairs and would highly recommend it to others. Thanks Eric! You’re proof that there are still decent, caring and friendly people in this world!

Friendly, professional and trustworthy service at an excellent price. My tire was ordered, delivered and installed when promised. Installation took less time than expected.

Mavis is always my go to place I have been coming here since I first started driving my Honda Civic now I bring my Audi they treat me like family and always let me know what’s going on and provide excellent and efficient service, even when it’s busy they just let me know and either slide me in or a better day that’s convenient for me, I have been coming here for years and will continue to come here Eric and Rich here are the best.

Just brought my car yesterday and Rich took care of me. Had to get a new axel and ended up needing a new tire rod. I appreciate the fact that they didn’t try to sell me on anything extra like some places do. I also brought it at 830am and it was done by 1230pm. Overall great service!

These guys are the best. I don't know there names but there's always 1 of 3 people working (sometimes altogether) that are extremely easy to speak to and seem to genuinely care. They always get my car serviced pretty quickly and I feel comfortable with them. I explained how I'm getting things done on my car every weekend and that next weekend would be the brakes, and he said I still have a decent amount left on the front brake pads so I don't have to rush. I haven't had honesty like that in a while when dealing with my car. Customer.for.life

Mavis discount tire in East Northport, NY is a really good place to bring your vehicle for easy work like oil change, tires, inspection etc. Vincent and Eric are really good people and will help you with whatever you may need or don't need and will tell you straight. I always bring my truck and other vehicles there and their mechanics are great.

Shady business practices. Brought my Jeep for an oil change. Was quoted $105.99? Very high. Asked why it was so high. "The cost of things have gone up. " What does that mean? No posted prices anywhere. Car needed an inspection and I was pressed for time, so I gave a $10 off coupon, which they said they would honor. My wife picked up the vehicle and when I checked the receipt it came to $115 with the coupon. How?

Then, we were told the car failed the inspection. "You need two new front tires. " Ok, we'll shop around. Took the car to a reputable business and it passed the inspection without any issue. Scam. Scam. Scam. Very disappointed in this business.

Took my Ford Explorer (a larger vehicle) to WALMART to get an oil change. Didn't want to go, wanted to support a smaller business like Mavis. But for full synthetic it was only $54.99. Are these guys kidding?

Mavis on Larkfield road in East Northport is great. I used to go to the dealer for service, but then I tried Mavis. I never looked back. The guys working this place are terrific.

I have been going there for years and they not only provide excellent services but are very courteous. My entire family uses them.
