Mavis Discount Tire, Elmsford NY

My car’s left front wheel literally popped out from underneath my car while I was driving 65 mph on I-287. I pulled over as fast as I could but it led to so much more damage that of course came at the worst time. I got myself towed to Mavis and while the whole situation was undesirable and unfortunate, their team really worked hard to try and make it so that my car’s repairs were as minimally stressful as possible. Big shoutout to Christian, Junior, Wilbur, Desmond, and everybody at Mavis who contributed to fixing up the mess that was my car. I was really between a rock and a hard place. They helped me out when I needed it most.

Christian is the man! Took me in at the last minute to take care of my tires. Did the job himself and got me up in running in an expeditiously manner. Great service!

It’s pretty easy to make an appointment with their site. After that, I went in, hung around the office for a short bit and it was all done. Thanks!

I'm glad the manager Edgar came back to this location. Always have a great experience here. I came in to have a flat fixed and the manager (Edgar) showed me that my axel was bad and grease was all over inside the wheel well. I had no clue that the axel was bad and if it wasn't for Edgar just doing a free inspection on the brakes and front-end i probably would of gotten stuck someplace if that axel broke.

Brian has the best customer service, fast and efficient, Very nice and caring I highly recommend mavis I would definitely come back if I ever need anything else they treat you like their family!

Everyone is very nice in this location but the service is terrible.
Doesn’t matter when you come and if you made an appointment or not, you will end up waiting for an hour or two or more.
My 3rd visit.
- 1st visit - replace tires. 10am appointment, waited 3 hours. Got it done.
- 2nd visit - felt vibrations after tire change. No appointment. Waited for over 2 and a half hours. Got the car in, told me there is mud on the rims that affects the balance. Need a car wash.
Got an extensive car wash- still vibrating.
- 3rd visit - 9am appointment (they open at 9) car went in at 10: 30!
Hopefully this will solve the issue.

If your time is valuable, go elsewhere.
Doesn’t worth the frustration.
Will not visit again.

Christian helped me out when I came a month ago for an inspection, oil change and tire and now my car needed oil just after a month. He did such a great job since it’s only been a month he did not charge me for the oil change. I defiantly recommend this Mavis the staff are really nice and helpful.
