Love love love Taneisha and Camille's service. I have very short hair but they work their magic and can do anything with it. They also make a hair growth serum that works wonders (!). If you're looking for a Black woman owned hairdresser or barber or nail salon or all 3, stop right here.

I wish there were more stars to give! This is the best place to get your hair done in the entire Bronx, Yonkers and Mt. Vernon area. Fair prices. Great environment - very lively. I recommend this location to everyone and there is a Barber as well so the whole family can come and leave looking like a million bucks. I am pleased to say. I will be a return customer! I received loads of compliments.

I love getting my hair done by Taneisha. I have been coming to her since my late teens. I have done weaves, braids, crochet, etc. Whatever hairstyle I ask for she always over exceeds my expectations. Camille is also an amazing assistant who always makes sure the client is comfortable and happy!

I love love love this place Camille and Taniesha are the best. There was never a dull moment! The time went so fast! Taniesha gave me box braids, chin length. I have very very short hair and she did an amazing job! The place is clean. Taniesha works really fast! I got compliments. My husband loves it.he says my hair makes me look extra sexy.

I got a cut styled into a finger wave and LOVE IT she was very kind to me and took her time with me and we enjoyed some laughter! Will definitely come back!

I’ve been in a lot of braiding stores and salons but nobody really listen and most of the times they were literally making a mess with my hair. So I’ve been so lucky finding this store because for the first ever someone didn’t tell me that my hair were “too short”. Now I’m literally obsessed with the salon, I go there every week, the staff is amazing and Taneisha the manager slays every single hairstyle of mine and she is also the sweetest person ever!

I would highly recommend coming here if you want your hair to look captivating. The owner does an amazing job and her hairstyles are always neat. She has a great personality and if you’d like to enjoy yourself while getting a cute hairstyle, Maximum Volumes is the place for you.

I’ve had my hair done at this salon once and I don’t think I’d be a returning client. The hair style came out no where near what I wanted but ok. The owner is beyond disrespectful and has a nonchalant attitude. I would not recommend this salon if your looking for A1 service.

I came to the salon in support of my local business instead of traveling to manhattan. I wanted a perm and red rinse. I got that perm alright.with a side of cold water.the other hair dresser had just washed another customers hair. I had perm in my hair and the water was ice cold.both hairdressers tried to contact the salon owner and after about 1 hr.she finally replied with a text that said something like "I don't know why it does that.after you wash one persons hair the water goes cold. " nobody wants to hear that.especially if they have a chemical in their hair that needs washing out.well they did the best they could by boiling water in electric tea kettle.the perm was finally rinsed out. I did not get the rinse that day because I couldn't take it in anymore the water never warmed back up. I came for the rinse the following week and the water started getting cold near the end.my hair is doing great, thanks to stephanie the hairdresser.if it wasn't for her quick thinking I could've had hair breakage or even hair loss.as for the salon itself it needs more than a facelift.the towels are all torn up, the capes are torn up, too many colors and patterns on the wall, but most important, the hot water heater needs fixing. I will not be going to that salon again.

Came here to get finger waves after previously getting a bad styling from another salon. The owner was extremely KIND and courteous and she made me look like a whole different woman. They were the PRETTIEST, neatest finger waves and hands down the most complimented hairstyle I’ve ever had. This is my go to salon!

Decided to get a buzz cut and was a bit nervous about going short. Someone I know recommenced me to Taniesha and I got a beautiful feminine cut that grew out lovely. She works with processed or natural hair because I’ve come to her with both and always left fabulous with hair growth.
