McAndrew Construction, Endicott NY

Mr. McAndrew spent almost 2 hours doing a layout, taking measurements, etc. He said he would have an estimate and contract ready in less than a week. After over a week, we called and was only able to leave a message. No response. After more than 2 weeks, we left another message asking if they were still interested. No response. Whatever the reason, at least have the decency to let someone know you've changed your mind or whatever. Just plain rude and inconsiderate to waste more than 3 weeks of our time. Fortunately, we found someone else who right now is finishing up the work. No issues, easy as pie and it looks GREAT!

Paul arrived on time for estimate appointment. I showed him what I needed for replacement and new gutters. He gave us some suggestions how to run the drains. He didn't try to sell other services. Two other companies came in with cheaper estimate but had to purchase other products.
Installer came to appointment on time, he worked quietly and quickly. He cleaned up when done.
We will use the company again for other work.

Great folks. Lewis and Rick did excellent work. Even in freezing temperatures I'd hire them again in a heart beat. Never once did they stop to
Play with their phones. Love my new rain gutters.

Very professional! We had to make a few changes to the initial installation of our gutters and they were prompt in returning and making the necessary changes. Extremely satisfied with their work.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. NEVER FINISHED THE JOB AND WILL NOT RESPOND TO ANY PHONE CALLS (MANY MANY EVERY DAY).

We purchased new gutters from McAndrew. Shortly after installation we noticed a leak at the corner in the front of our house. They came back and “fixed” it. For quite awhile we had no rain, (I know this is shocking since we live in Binghamton!) so we assumed the fix was truly fixed. Well the first rain came after several months and lo and behold- same leak! We called them back and surprise, surprise- we were no longer under warranty! What TERRIBLE customer service! We were very disappointed! And yes, our gutter still leaks! If McAndrew wants to come make it right, feel free to let us know and I will gladly update my review.

We had a contract for redoing two bathrooms. The contract said it would take two weeks but instead it took nine. The men doing the work would come for a day and say they would be back the next day but they would not show. One week they worked 3 days. We have a couple of things that need to be fixed and they were supposed to come but did not. The pandemic is part of the problem but when people are supposed to show up either show up or let the customer know there is a conflict. When Paul is in our area we would like him to stop.

I definitely recommend McAndrew Construction for any home improvement projects you need done. They have showed me that it is extremely important to them that I as a customer, am completely satisfied with the work that they do. Customer satisfaction is their main priority. They would do whatever is needed to be done to make sure when a job is completed you are happy with the end result. Overall, they left me a very happy satisfied customer.

Called me about a 1500 credit that I supposedly won, scheduled for them to come out 3 times. All 3 times, were moved out or cancelled for bogus reasons, was sworn to get a call back by the next day.and nothing. When I called just to see if they could send me 1500 worth of parts and I’ll install them myself, they told me “it’s actually 1500 off a project not the parts”, I would not recommend this company to anybody that’s looking for professionalism or even common courtesy.

Never showed up for an estimate and never notified me. In my books, that’s clearly incompetence and will look elsewhere for the job.

Paul, Chris and the contractors were very professional from start to finish. They were very patient and explained everything to mother and I. My mother had a beautiful walk in shower installed and she couldn't be happier. I would recommend McAndrew Construction to friends and family. Excellent job and they stay true to what they say.
