McDonald's, Horseheads NY

Horrible, slow service every time I come here. This last time I stood in the lobby waiting to order for ten minutes while the manager who was running the register prioritized helping the three people running the drive through. This location clearly suffers from the backwards corporate expectations of prioritizing drive through time metrics over the customers who could be bothered to get out of their cars and walk in. Pointlessly, it must be said, as this location’s drive through times are usually just as bad.

Food was cold. Service was slow. And employees were very rude. Had to pull up and wait for French fries. And when they finally brought out our food the fries were cold anyways. Burgers were extremely salty and so cold the cheese wasn't even melted.

This place is awesome. Best staff ever!
Best experience is coming inside. The employee came to our table and handed us our food, and is also energetic. I love this place.

Got there approximately 8: 00 8: 30 line on drive-thru we were fifth car took a half hour to get through the line and get our food

I realize it could be a one time thing, but I ordered two customized coffees. They made me wait, ask me to pull up to waiting spot. I got coffee, pulled away and discovered they were just black. Really?

Ordered a happy meal, hamburger, fish filet, and drinks. Had to pull to the side and wait, didn't get the bottled water we ordered and no ketchup that was requested. We were in a hurry so didn't check. Won't make that mistake again

I have always had great service at this McDonald's. Food, of course, is typical McDonald's food. Great service again today, as is typically the case at this particular restaurant.

Why do we even bother? This wasn’t the first time we have had a bad experience here. We just wanted some nice, hot fries. After waiting in a very slow line, we were told we had to wait another five minutes for the fries. We didn’t mind, since we would be getting hot, fresh out of the fryer, crispy fries. Nope! Not this time. They were hot, but it was obvious that they were old, and had been put back into the fryer and reheated. They were dried out and hard (not crispy) and the container was only half full. To top it off, there were no napkins in the bag. We wasted almost $5 on what was essentially “garbage” food. Thanks, McDonald’s, for reminding us why we usually choose someplace else to eat when we are out running errands. It is really disappointing that the employees here can’t even get basic FRENCH FRIES right!

Poor attitudes and can't get orders correct and God forbid if they fill the drinks to the and make sure tops are on all they way.not what they use to be

Flooring was covered with dirt and debris under tables. Food was fine but the place seemed to be getting less cleaning. My guess is staffing issues other staff seemed to keep it cleaner.

I went through the drive through on April 7,2022. The young woman managing the order/payment window was very curt and cut me off 3 times as I tried to place my order. She wasn't able to give me a total until I got to the window itself. I gave her cash which she took while talking with another employee. I gave her a 10 and 4 ones with change. I didn't request a receipt or change. When I drove up to the second window to pick up my order, I was told that I was short by $10! I knew I had given the right amount as I counted it three times AND that was the whole amount of cash I had with me. When I questioned this, I was told that they would have to count down the drawer and that I had to wait until they were done serving all the cars behind me to do it. I was left without my order and without my money. To make matters worse, I wasn't able to talk with a manager when I got back to work as the phone number is not in service. This is the third problem with this restaurant. I've had poorly prepared food and missing items. I won't go back.

3x in a row, horrible service in the same week. Was given an iced tea HOT. When I mentioned it was hot the employee said it was just brewed and there was no ice. So why give it to me? Happy Meal came in a bag. No toy. My orange juice was see through. In the same week, was given a soda that was flat and also no ice again. The franchise owner needs to step up their game and be more prepared with supplies.

Ordered the crispy chicken sanwich, sandwich, came on a bun with pickles no mayo or lettuce.it was dry as a popcorn fart.i guess it isn't supposed to get mayo or lettuce but darn it needed somthing

The staff was pleasant quick and prompt with taking the order and getting it to me. They mixed my hazelnut iced coffee thank you thank you thank you most don't do that

My boyfriend and I visited this location on Wednesday March 30th. The employee that took our order claimed they no longer make ANY breakfast items outside of breakfast hours, due to COVID. This is not the case at any other location we've been to and I doubt it actually was there. The employee seemed lazy and disinterested. Due to dietary restrictions, I'm only able to eat certain menu items and I understand running out of the sausage burritos, but the oatmeal is pretty basic to make at any time of day. Due to the employee's laziness, I was only able to have a smoothie after a long day of work, had to sit and watch my boyfriend eat, then had to go home and cook dinner for myself. I have absolutely lost interest in returning to this particular location. Also, the entire lobby area was a mess.

Ordered 4 things. They forgot 2 of the items and totally messed up another. Staff wasnt the pleasantest and I asked for a refill on my half full large tea and the gave me back a small tea which had less in it then the one i needed refilled.

This McDonald's is one of the better ones in the area. Food is hot, really no significant errors in orders that I have seen. Staff is friendly!

I asked for a chicken sandwich with mayo and lettuce they gave me one with pickles and mayo when did I ask for pickles? Where’s my mayo? Waste of money

Very poor quality food. The only thing good was my diet coke. This was during lunch at time. Usually when its busier food is fresher.

Everytime I come here I never have any issues. Food is surprisingly always made right lol. Friendly staff, clean establishment. I just recently stopped here because I needed to use the restroom. Also had to change my daughter's diaper. I liked thag the cha ginger table dropped down in the slightly bigger bathroom. She was closer to me as I went potty lol.
