This is a bad place to go for delivery, avoid this place, take more than 6 hours get unloaded, also one hour after I payed the lumper I don’t received the BOL.
NEGATIVE 7 stars
Do not gat hire
1. All day waiting minimum 7hours
2. After you get on a dook another 5 hours
3. Then you get digital robed min 500$
Stay away from this waist of space
Parked in the inbound lot at 6: 30pm. Walk across the street to check in with guard. Guard said it would be at least 11: 00 pm before they called us. We were docked by 11: 40 pm. Got the green light at 12: 15 am. Paid the lumper fee and got our paperwork by 12: 50 am.
Apt was at 8 capstone sent payment request at 1109 it’s 0110 and still waiting for paperwork…. How is that possible
If you want your delivery tossed around like it’s trash, then by all means these are the guys to go to. They have absolutely zero care for their customers. & they 100% do not mind if they completely block access to one of the most visited places. IE a beer cave. Obviously people go INTO a beer cave. Not today though. Thanks to mclane.
Guard shack guys are cool respectful and clear on instructions
The people inside are rude no bathroom on the site have to use the Porta John across the street in the parking area
Great experience.
20: 00 appt
Checked in at 17: 00
Docked at 19: 00, empty 19: 45. $105 lumper fee. (26 pallets)
Out of there at 20: 00
*park across the street, check in at security guard shack, they'll keep your ppwrk and call you when a door opens for you. Capstone will send you a link so you can pay for the lumper fee online, then some guy will show up and knock on your door and give you the POD along with the gate pass. Gentle and polite people!
Portable John by the station area.
Great experience overall.
Overnight parking is a big plus if you get there way earlier.
When you get to the warehouse you have to park in the courtyard on the right, leave the truck and go on foot with the guard, register yourself, and then they call you to assign you a door once you are at the door, they unload you and you They send a message for you to pay for the download with a card, they don't want cash, since the payment remains, you have to wait for your papers to be delivered to you, and you already leave with the doors open with the guard, you can spend the night in the front yard
Worst work experience I’ve had yet. Management is terrible and very one sided so don’t expect them to help you or see your side of anything. They pick and make the work day easier for a few handful of workers and let them leave early making you stay even longer at work. You never know when you will be leaving that day and even after working 3 hours past when you are suppose to leave you can’t leave without using PTO or sick time or using a tardy. This is my first time leaving a work review but I feel it needed to be said. I’ll never suggest anyone works at Mclane and if you do, you will be miserable and a high chance of being injured from the many osha violations that take place.
I usually try and avoid McLane because they are slow and waste a day but this time I was surprised. Arrived 8p for a 9p appointment. Guard shack friendly and helpful. 24hr parking across the street. Empty with bills 9: 30p. Whatever they are doing here they are doing it right. Has to be my only experience at a McLane or with Capstone for that matter that was pleasant.
Appointment at 9pm
Checkin at 6: 30pm
Got a door by 8pm
Unloading time was 30min
Got done at 9pm
This place is very bad for those who work by travel, maybe those who work by the hour are better for them. My appointment was at 8: 00 PM. I arrive at 6: 00 PM. They don't receive me, they receive me at 8: 00 PM. 10: 00 PM they haven't even put their hand on me yet
Do not come. Very hostile environment. Taking forever to unload and even longer to get paperwork.avoid avoid avoid.
From someone whose done audits over $5 million dollars at places like this, Id definitely say that you DON'T want to work here! Their new system has holes and gaps that they aren't willing to fix and because everyone is driving around with all the weight in the back someone is going to be seriously hurt or worse! Definitely avoid this place! I even saw a person get run over at the loading dock and they forced him to work the next day with a broken foot! That's absolutely awful!
Go to this warehouse if you want to deal with rude people and wait long hours to get unloaded
I put 1, only because 0 is not a scale, terrible quality of work and service, not recommend this place even to my enemy
