Lovely layout, good nooks and crannies, and decent selection of books. Could use a nice, modern board game section.

Horrible Experience! I was treated very Poorly by the Sales Associate Stephanie. Treat everyone Equally.

It has the worst customer service in the world, they followed me throughout the store as if I was going to steal something and also the employees were very rude to the point of being derogatory and discriminatory. It was very uncomfortable for me and my partner, too bad.

Cozy atmosphere, i so loved the staircase to the upper section it had a little story on it.

Within the hustle and bustle of busy downtown Brooklyn you have McNally Jackson books.such a well put together shop with areas all around to sit and read b4 you buy, Didn't have much interaction with staff but they were very nice in the moments I did and when checking out i will definitely be coming back for my next murder mystery haha

Been here a few times and each time has been great! When I came here a few days ago the person at the desk was especially nice!

Great nature writing selection, and I just found out they have a punch card (get 1 free after buying 10) for greeting cards, for which they have a great selection, too.

The person who answered my call was Maya. Very helpful and very informative. We had a wonderful talk together about books and books signing and many other things. We had a little storytelling moment also and she was as patient and hospitable as the universe. I don’t think that I have ever had a complaint with anyone from McNally Jackson, they’re pretty tight in there and know exactly what they’re doing.
At 12 noon on Wednesday. May 17th Maya and I will meet at # 1 Rockefeller Center NYC where I will sign my book: My Selma (as many copies as she has) I’m so excited, and I hope that you will join us thank you.

McNally Jackson Books is a great little bookstore, I just came in for the first time this weekend to grab some greeting card and to browse the books. The space is really lovely and there is a huge selection of items. The staff are SO kind as well, I highly recommend this bookstore!

Could have a spent a lot more time here. The place has a nice vibe (music, layout) and has lots of books in stock despite being medium sized. Unfortunately and unexpectedly the staff were quite rude, maybe someone who was having a bad day

Wow, this bookshop blew me away. I try to visit some independent book stores everytime I travel and this one will be going on the best of list. The staff selections were wonderfully curated. Each selection had a small but impactful blurb. Outside of the staff selection they had a great selection as well. Hopefully one day I can visit again as the space and layout is memorable.

Great staff and selection of books from smaller publishers. Stationery section out back too.
