McQuaid's Public House reviews
15Dropped in to watch a bit of Champions League and grab a beer whilst waiting for a cruise. Entertaining barmaid discussing some funny stories with the regulars
I’ve been a long time McQuaid customer and under the new management the food is absolutely outstanding! You and your team are killin’ it, Timmy!
We stopped by on Labor Day. Saw the sign that said “under new Management”.
The food was amazing: taste, presentation and everything was great!
Service was on point as well.
Incredible, Timmy was awesome and personable. Ordered sliders, wings, and curry fries. Everything was delicious. Will be revisiting.
Quaint Irish spot. Very laidback, comforting atmosphere. I ordered the Sheppard's pie and my partner the Reuben; both were well done and delicious!
The service is great. The atmosphere is great and the place is extremely clean and the food was definitely very good
This is a very nice bar. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. I will be returning when I'm in the area.
Meh. I ordered a Jameson and Ginger that was more Ginger than Jameson. I saw were that was going so I switched to beer. At least those were cold. My buddy ordered wings which left a lot to be desired. They were overly breaded and fried too hard for my tastes. The hit sauce made them slightly palatable, but I shouldn't have had to go that route. Too far off the beaten path for me for poor drinks and food.
Service was very quick and efficient and the bartenders were friendly. I would return to this bar.
I'm a big lover of pubs, and this is one of my favorites.
Ordered a snack platter, a shepherd's pie, and an Irish breakfast - all was delicious.
Service is quick and their staff is fun; I will definitely get back when I'm in NY again.
Really good pub.
Lovley guys running it, really friendly and make you very welcome.
Food is excellent and the Guinness is the best.
Such a great place. Delicious food and a great old school neighborhood pub. You can’t go wrong here.
Dropped in by chance on the way past, great first impression, and soon found out that timmy is from my home town in dundalk. They opened kitchen early to provide food for us and the kids, super irish pub, food, service and atmosphere.
Located on the corner of 44th and 11th, this Irish pub really makes you feel like a friend of the family instead of a bar patron. The bartenders were super nice and the shepherd's pie I ate was the best I've tasted in years. They've got karaoke Wednesdays as well as benches and tables outside for when it's warmer. I would definitely look forward to a return visit.
Great bar. The curry fries (chips) are great, and the staff is fun. The music isn't too loud and it's just a cool location to relax and talk to friends.
