Meadow East Apartments - Potsdam Apartment Rental reviews
5Has been a wonderful experience so far. Nice, modernized apartments close to school, lots of green space, very social. Tammy the property manger is very good at solving any kind of your problem related to housing. She will try to solve any kind maintenance problem as quick as possible. Now i would like to say few lines regarding the property owner my dear friend Bryan. Bryan the owner of this property is the gem of a person. He is very friendly and understand your problem. During my entire stay at Meadow east he was there for me all the time. I miss meadow east. Overall I can Great team of people working close by. Thank you my dear friend Bryan and Tammy for making my stay wonderful at Meadow east.
I would not advise renting here. You can look up the owner in North Country now, his name is Bryan Wolofsky. There are several articles written on him. Basically, he started harassing all of his tenants for a water bill that wasn't in the lease. He'd send a few emails to all of the tenants every month about it, that got progressively more unhinged sounding (numerous grammatical errors, all caps, and lots of swearing). He also would not give us our security deposit back after saying we'd get it back and has ignored all emails sent afterwards. The buildings are also very dilapidated and he will not reinvest into the apartments.
My son still has not received his security deposit back after moving out 3 months ago. The apartment was spotless! Cleaner then when he moved in!
When I first moved in, offered me an old, only carpet is cleaned unit, with last talent's furniture in it. But I was in a hurry to find an apartment, so I accepted it. Still took me 2 days to clean things.
But when I moved out, I did a cleaning on everything, moved out all stuffs, still charged me 400 for cleaning. Well, I think the apartment I left is cleaner than when I moved in, so, what can I say.
And, heat went out in winter like 2 times per week. The maintenance guy came lots of time to fix it, but after a few days, it just wont work again. If you want be freezing during snow time, its a great place to live.
A lot of flys in the building, manager just wont take care of it.
Window in bedroom and sliding glass door to balcony didn't work well since day 1, they said it will be fixed, but never done.
Not a good apartment to live in.
