Medford Shooting Range reviews
14Great experience! Charlie and Anthony made it fun for my son on his bday, and went the extra mile in this ammo crisis. Cant wait to visit again.
Charlie and his associate range master are top notch professionals. Safe, clean, knowledgeable.
An employee there told me “This isn’t a range for AR’s” (didn’t even tell him the caliber) as a young looking guy, I’ve heard there’s age discrimination here from a few employees but that’s their loss. Myself and other local Marines will stick with Ridge and Calverton
I've been going there for years, and I have the annual pass, worth it! Did I mention Charlie makes it entertaining when you sign in at the desk? Lol, thanks Medford for providing a good facility with no BS!
I love this place. They keep convenient hours, unlike the outdoor ranges. They also have longer lanes than other indoor facilities. And they're always friendly.
Thanks Skeeter and Ziggy!
TERRIBLE! So rude and nasty, can't believe there in business? Believe the reviews and don't go here!
Great range, great people/service. I drive past several other ranges to shoot here. No tacti-cool smart alecs here. If you’re capable of following directions / have common sense you’ll be treated well!
I took my son to the shooting range for the first time on a cold day over a long weekend. I rented one rifle to shoot for an hr with 50ammos to start. It was around $52 for the gun rental and ammo. The front gentleman was very helpful and gave directions on how to use the gun. Anthony was very helpful as well. We also bought extra 150 ammos afterwards. An hr flew by, and my son definitely had a great time there. I only took 1 star off for the cost because I spent around $70 for an hr for the rental and 200 ammos. It’d have been nice if it was a little less expensive. Overall, it was nice that it was indoors and located conveniently off LIE, exit 64. We’d definitely go back and would recommend to anyone who wants to try out an indoor gun range.
For both gun shop and range, this place is a little bit small.
Charlie, the front desk, could be rude to newbies in the range, but polite to old customers.
The tall, old man with white hair is basically the nicest person in the range.
I've finished all shooting procedures by myself, so I'm not quite sure whether other instructors are as rude as the comments said, but I do heard some instructors yelled to shooters when they operated.
Not so bad, not so good, medium level range
Very unprofessional staff, Will kick out customers for missing a target and hitting a ceiling pad. Should inform people if Beginners are allowed onto the range.
Horrible range. Nasty personnel who watch over you when you shoot. If stray round hits overhead tile they charge you extra $25.00
Absolutely the worst experience in my entire life. No one is helpful and they have the worst attitude ever. I have never felt more attacked in my life by the customer service these people claim to have. I will never come here again and I do not recommend for any person trying to learn to use a rifle to come here.
Pleasurable experience! Dealt with Charlie who was very professional, knowledgeable, and even gave me a few shooting tips!
Been here twice so far and rented their 9mm AR15. Great staff and convenient location. Will repeat.
