Mediterranean Kebab House reviews
16Food was horrible no taste at all it needs that authentic flavor we started with the lentils soups to see how it's but didn't pass the test it was badly to the point the my date didn't want to ask for nothing else and we got up and lived they charge you for service on the bill plus taxes soups was $12.00 for each i won't mind to paid for food that is good but expensive and horrible taste no way and they didn't try to accommodate you neither they know the food is not that great sorry but I being honest they needs a better chef asp
Food was excellent but the server guided us wrong about serving size of food. We ended up over ordering and paying around 1000$ for 8 adults. There was a language barrier and the food menu guide is very bad.
They simply do NOT want returning customers.
- "Offered" a bottle of water for $ and bread for more $
- As mentioned by others it tricked you into tipping further when indeed they charge 20% service charge upfront
- Ordered a dish for $30 - $35 (only item ordered) ended up with a bill of $50. I did not want to argue to make the experience worst.
Of course will never come back again.
Food's pretty good. They do add an 18% gratuity on the bill so don't double tip. Also they charge $4.50 for the bottle of water that's on the table
Did not taste good or fresh. Meat was tasteless. They have deceptive sales practices. Will not come back.
Very welcoming statf,
I must say their food was tasty, especially the special platter. (no masala etc)
They should bring up the rice game, i wasnt impressed at all.
Plus they should work on their prices!
Overall 4/5
Grabbed lunch today and the bill came to $108.upon arriving, we were offered soup and it was not implied at all that we would be charged for it, came to see that this was $10 each for the soup, which is ridiculous in of itself.they could’ve mentioned it wasn’t complimentary instead of “offering” it how they did.secondly, there was a bottle of poland spring just placed on the table, again, it wasn’t mentioned that we were charged $4.50 for it, would’ve just asked for tap water.then on top of that, we were charged $18 (!) as a “service fee”. The food was just fine, not mind blowing and the bill left a bitter taste in our mouths, just so shady! I’d recommend communicating with your customers because clearly, from other reviews posted, this seems to be a recurring issue.shocking.prices online also do not reflect the prices dining in.
Food was good but not worth the price at all. $23.95 for Sausage Pide, $9.95 for Fries, $12 for a bowl of soup, $4.50 for bottle of water, $18.95 for Kunefe, etc etc. This was a regular go to spot for us but will no longer be going there due to business increasing the prices exponentially. They are destroying their own business. I mean who is going to pay $10 for French fries? The service has also diminished. They try to oversell and force items on you probably knowing their business isn't as busy as it was before. Owner needs to re-assess and reduce the prices.
The food was good and tasty. The place inside is cool and comfortable. Just felt the server kept upselling from the moment we sat down.
My family and I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years. The food is excellent and very authentically Turkish. But the added charges are a real disappointment. The 18% service charge seems like they just try to trick you into tipping twice. They still leave a space on the bottom of the check for the tip. I’m sorry that they now treat their customers this way. Much less crowded now than it used to be so it seems like the tactics are not working. What a shame.
RIPPED OFF! Guys please be careful before going in this restaurent! The soda is $4. A one small pizza is $60 and the food is disgusting.they also charge 20% service charge. Me and my friend just
Ordered few things and they charged us $240 and the food was disgusting. NOT WORTH IT!
Automatically add tip to my bill and it was just me. Food is gross, NO flavor. This is the worst food here in NY since I been here.
It's great food little pricey but overall is amazing I saw the most of reviews negitve about tips but it's normal we live in NY which 20% tips if you guys don't want tips eat home or fast food not in restaurants. Hands up for everyone inside made our night awesome.
Group of 13 peoples. For sure coming back
They charge an additional $5.00 fee after you pay your bill and walk away. The receipt I signed was $5.00 less than what they billed my credit card. The $5.00 was added after I left and without my knowledge, What a scam. Also the food portions are very small.stay away from here. They are a rip off and are rude.
Do not go here. They charge for the water they set at the table — $4.50 for a liter Poland Spring. They overcook the lamb house special and didn’t season the vegetable kebabs. Then they have the audacity to charge 20% for “service. ” We sat for 20 minutes waiting for our waiter to bring us a box. We asked for a check and only then had three separate people come over to ask if we wanted dessert or coffee. Such a waste of money.
