Reserved a couch for 10 people.

There's no way 10 people can fit there to begin with.
Shortly after we sat (barely fit 7 skinny), were told that without ordering over $350 worth of alcohol we had to leave the couch, without refund.

Nowhere this was disclosed.
They are forcing you to buy a $350 bottle, and take gratuity 20% right away.

Robbery.

Very rude and uneducated security. They are rude and say rude words. You should change the security staff, these people should not work with people.

I cannot express how Grateful we are to have booked our daughters sweet 16 at Melrose ballroom. The managers, staff and security were exceptional form Start to finish. It was such a pleasure to work w everyone and secure the most amazing party we have ever been to!

As a promoter for 20 years, having my first event at Melrose Ballroom, it was a great experience. I will be booking more dates and look forward to working with their team again. It’s a beautiful venue perfect for any occasion or event.

Came for the strong island boxing fight night and loved the venue! It was a great space, the bar was so convenient and efficient and the bartenders were great!

Melrose has been one of the most consistent venues in Astoria, catering to all cultural backgrounds through their events and menu and offering pristine service 100% of the time. When you're in Melrose you forget you're in the city it feels like you were transported to party land. Each floor filled with its own wonder. From the first floor to the rooftop to the bathrooms Melrose is definitely my fav spot to party!

The Melrose Ballroom is truly one of New York's finest full service private event venues, with comfortable spaces, and a large kitchen for off-premise caterers combined with exceptional, personalized service. Between it's easily accessible, from all boroughs, location, the customizable rooms, rooftop lounge and state-of-the-art technology it certainly made our Charity Fashion Fundraiser a memorable visit. Melrose's flawless High-Definition video wall brought attention to our message, engaged the attendees, as well as helped streamline our presentation and consequently meet our fundraising goals. I give it a Glowing 5 Stars!

Melrose Ballroom is as inviting and beautiful of a venue as they come due to its multilevel space that is flexible to accommodate any event request as needed. The venue is ready to produce the most surreal and amazing event experience as planned with any decor imaginable. Booking at Melrose Ballroom was both a professional and overwhelming pleasure as the staff ensured that our requests were adhered to in the most detailed oriented manner which resulted in a tremendous experience. Overall, a 5 star review is the least I can give Melrose Ballroom after such an amazing night.

This is probably the most AMAZING venue in Long Island City. I’ve been here for many live concerts. The sound, lights and effects were amazing. There’s always something interesting going on. The rooftop is a great place to have a drink or even hold a private event as a birthday, baptism, wedding or cooperate. Highly recommend!

Melrose is my go to spot all year long. I've been to many events at this venue and the service is always phenomenal from valet parking, bartending to the bathroom service Melrose is the top in the game. Melrose caters to all different types of guests and provides both indoor and outdoor spaces. I look forward to what they have in store this fall!
