Memories of New York

A well stocked, busy little shop well down 5th Avenue. The owner was really lovely and gave my kids a couple of free postcards and bookmarks, as well as taking a bit of time to talk to them. A real gentleman, and the store in general is well worth the extra few blocks walking from mid town Manhattan. Best prices too.

Friendly staff and variety of souvenirs. It's totally recommended. It's not so cheap, but you can find sales in there.it's totally worth it. If you have luck, the owner/cashier can give you gifts!

Best souvenir shop! You can get everything you want. The owner of the store is probably the best man we have met in NY so far. He was an incredibly warm and welcoming person. He didn't try to cross sell or upsell any of his stuff and even threw in a few extra goodies for us! Thank you for your kindness sir! I wish there were more people like you in this world

We visited the Memories of New York shop on our last day in Manhattan. It has a huge selection of shirts and souvenirs.
We saw more variety than the other shops we visited and the staff were helpful.
Just like the other reviews have stated, what makes this shop special is the owner. He's so friendly and generous you can't help feeling good when you leave.
We came away with souvenirs and a great memory of our visit there.

Probably the best place to buy your souvenirs in New York. Prices are ok but the owner melts your heart. He is one of the nicest persons we've ever met, he clearly loves his job and each and every one of his customers. Worth having a look!

The reviews on this place are true. If you are a first timer avoid the airport and time square shops and come here. The employees are nice especially the gentleman. Prices are the best around the city. I looked at many stores and all their shirts were more expensive than this one. Come here definitely the best gift shop in NYC.

I gave this place 5 stars last year and it was my first time going.the owner was very endearing and a sweet old man.however, this year after coming back to the city and wanting to bring souvenirs to ppl back home, i was scammed because the owner scanned the same t-shirt twice.i read the reviews and saw that this is a common occurrence, so please be aware.i am a bit sad that such a sweet man could keep up the appearance just to scam distracted/naïve tourists.
