Men's Wearhouse reviews
19Customer service is excellent. Definitely very helpful and very attentive. Ahnaf was very welcoming and his choice was excellent.
I needed a suit for a funeral. Someone referred me to Men's Wearhouse. The sales person, Nas, saw that I was stressed out over it. He said that he would be happy to help me. The experience was very comfortable and stress free. Highly recommend.
Very helpful, and had what I needed. All men's clothing stores should be like Men's Wearhouse.
I don't normally leave reviews for places but this place just rubbed me wrong way. I have my grandfathers funeral coming up and I need a suit because I’m a pallbearer. I went in and no one said anything to me and I have never shopped for a suit before so I didn't know how the process went so I just started looking around at the suits. I saw a man talking to another couple that we’re trying on suits and I figured I had to wait for him to assist me so I waited. The two cashiers were in their phones talking to one another and didn’t even look over at me. And then out of no where another man approached me and asked if I needed help. I said “yeah I have a funeral I’m attending and I need a suit” the first thing that came out of his mouth was “when’s the funeral” not “oh I’m sorry for your loss, can you tell me when the funeral is? ” Just “when’s the funeral” and it was the tone this man had, he did not care at all he was just trying to make commission. He rushed over to a rack without even saying anything at all just walked away from me. And then told me “take your jacket off” no please or thank you. This man made me feel terrible, as if I was inconveniencing him, even though I’m preparing to burry my grandfather. Long story short nothing in the store fit me and he told me to try other places. Awful experience.
Way over priced, $55 for a tuxedo shirt and $55 for the tuxedo shirt bow tie, you got to be kidding me got both on Amazon for $40
Awful experience. Bridal party was told we could phone in measurements so we didn’t have to make the trip, so I got measurements locally. When I called them in, I was told my measurements “couldn’t be right” so I needed to go there. Drove 2 hours for measurements, clerks seemed entirely disinterested. Argued over “whose turn it was to measure. ” All that for them to measure me exactly the same as what I had, except for my pants. Wedding day comes… surprise, pants are several sizes too big. I am told they “estimate” pants size based on coat size? Not sure if they knew what they were saying, but seems incredibly idiotic to make someone come 2 hours for measurements then to just guess (incorrectly I’d add). Couple all that with the fact that the basic black and white suit was over $200, and that we had to return it the day after the wedding (really, a 3 day rental period?) - and I’d recommend going somewhere else!
Words can not describe how disappointed in my experience with the whole company. My groomsmen went to 3 different locations in 2 different states. We rented 7 full tuxedos, and every single one has an issue. My father's pants were so short that he could not physically sit with out it hurting him. We had sleeves to short, different lengths. Coats to small, coats to big. Shirts with stains on the sleeves. We had pants to long. I had a groomsmen who was told that he was a big boy with T-rex arms and that why it looked as baggy and sloppy. I will never return to this company and highly recommend other don't especially if they are bigger. They will body shame and ruin your wedding/pictures.
I'm not sure if I would recommend them or not. At the end of the day everyone's suit was what it needed to be, but there were several that arrived in completely the wrong size and had to be altered. If you book them for a wedding, make sure you have the guys go to try on their suit/tux as soon as they are ready to allow time for any adjustments! Kind of meh in the communication department as well.
The only suits they offer come in gray blue and black they are single breast suits and no name suits with very high price tags
Avoid at all costs. Unhelpful, unfriendly, and unprofessional young female employee. Didn’t want to help us at all with the tux rental process. Every question was met with an eye roll. They don’t have sizes to try on and absolutely nothing is explained. I had to ask every question, what comes with the rental? What are the options? Can you hem pants? Nothing was explained. Treated like a burden for being there. Horrible customer service. Visit a different location or try the Black Tux they were incredibly helpful and friendly and walked us through the process start to finish.
I was greeted upon entering the store and staff were immensely knowledgeable regarding products and services. Awesome experience all around. Highly highly recommended!
Also, I wanted to share that this was my very first experience buying suits. Both David and Jared provided exceptional customer service. Needless to say, I was extremely satisfied.
Horrible service and products. Stay far away from them if you are trying to dress your wedding party with properly tailored clothing. I was part of a wedding party recently - literally me and every other groomsmen had horribly tailored clothes. To the point where we had to buy our own pants and shirts. The pants they gave me could have fit someone a while foot shorter than me. Plus we went through two fittings! Inseam and waist should be the easiest measurements, but they managed to mess those up for everyone. We only spent $50 but they would still not refund us.
Awesome service. In and out! Not sure what the guys name was but he had a beard and helped me out with a good price on renting the tux. He made it very affordable for a college kid. Appreciate the great service, I didn’t think it would be so easy as a first timer.
Sharp clothes but very haphazard production for a wedding party. Multiple guys had assorted missing items. Check in and out was a breeze though.
As someone who works in customer service, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had since ordering from Leo’s Pizzeria nearly a year ago.
I came in to a staff of three people with zero acknowledgement and less than 5 other customers. I’d like to think of myself as pretty resourceful so i found my own things, tried them on, and went to cash out (all with zero staff interaction). I am a reasonable person and I understand some aspects of this operation might need a little TLC: neck measuring, color coordination advisement, etc. No problem, I get it.
What I had was a self directed 20+ minute shop with zero acknowledgement and a 10+ minute wait at an abandoned cash out stand where the employees literally walked away from me 3 times and left me to wait unacknowledged to a point where I had to beg to give them $100.
To the social media person blindly replying to this: Watch the camera footage from 5: 45-6: 30 on Thursday, April 28th. I was blatantly ignored. Please let me know in the reply how long I was waiting at the counter instead of a blanket apology and I might chalk it up to inept training. If it’s blanket apology I’m gonna be a Burlington Coat Factory man.
Stopped in the Cheektowaga store and met with Michael regarding wedding suits. He was not only extremely helpful; but also knowledgeable and very accommodating. Great service and location!
Adonis (likely the right spelling) best customer service in years and very friendly. The ownership should use his kindness and service as an example
To all staff
This was my first time shopping here, very good customer service. The young lady who helped me out (Tanzim) was kind and I was able to find a good suit very easily.
Stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting to get checked out for a tie while 3 employees stood at the counter, scratched names off a list and still walked away without even acknowledging us. Went to target across the street to get a tie instead.
