Service was fine (nothing special, though the guy pouring my beer left half a pint of foam which wasn’t cool, but I wasn’t there to drink really) but the atmosphere was plain awful so I’m knockIng two stars. I was jeered at the moment I walked in the door by a customer supporting the opposing team and for the life of me, I’m a quiet person and I did nothing to provoke this except wear the shirt of my favorite player (no slogans, just his shirt with his number.) Then I was harassed again, merely for wearing my shirt. It was such a negative experience that I don’t want to return. Bad vibes all around. I guess get someone to go with you whenever you want to go to this place since it felt unsafe for me to go alone.

Poor service and terrible drinks. Bartenders were inattentive and could care less about providing even decent service. The staff was argumentative and rude even after we were kind and patient throughout our time at Més Que. Will not be coming back and would not recommend.

I have read a ton of excellent reviews about mésQue but the bartender was by far the rudest!
I’ve been around a lot of bars and pubs and I cannot remember one ever being as surly and rude as this guy, piece of advice if you are not happy In you’re job! Quit and do something you enjoy because sure as heck you can’t possibly like what you’re doing and it shows

The food is incredible, the drinks are so good and unique and the staff is amazing there are not enough good things to say about this place!

Came in to get a drink at 8: 15pm on a Monday night. Was not greeted when I entered the bar and the two male employee working were curt and rude. I could tell they would rather be on their phone than working. The table and menus were filthy and covered in sauce. The beers weren’t poured correctly as I had nearly half a pint of foam. When I came in to get a second round one employee asked if we were the “table with all the waters”. The area is great, however the service leaves much to be desired.

You may have overlooked this bar and restaurant due to its small signage, but it's worth checking out. From signature cocktails and delicious food items, outdoor and indoor seating, and a place to catch a professional soccer game. It's a must try on Hertel.

Great place, amazing cocktails best around, service is one of a kind super friendly. Foods always delicious. We will have many more outings to Mes Que thanks for a fantastic Sunday afternoon guys keep it up.

Bad service, bad beer, terrible prices. The bar tender was hands down the rudest we’ve ever experienced. He insulted us under his breath and to our face, because—in his eyes, apparently—we didn’t tip him enough. (We tipped him more than enough for the terrible service we received—15%, despite everything). He also attacked us for not bringing our empty glasses to the bar.

The beer all tasted the same, probably thanks to this place’s lack of attention to cleaning and maintaining their taps. On top of that, the tables and menus were filthy, covered in the last 10 customers’ meals and drinks. And the prices were awful; a run of the mill beer was $8.

I’d never go back here. In case management reads this, the bar tender was a 20-30 year old African American man with shaved hair. He’s single-handedly destroying your business.

Mes Que has a fantastic atmosphere, some of the best cocktails we have ever had! Our bartender Zack was amazing and such a gracious host!

Great place for soccer fans. One of the only places in the city which is so hyped about soccer. They have a good collection of beers. Mostly off during the weekdays but quiet busy when there is a soccer game.

I’m a loyal customer to this place since 2013 and lately I have been getting a rude service from one person there (African American) who need to go ASSAP! He need to go and learn how to treat customers! Very bad service not going there anymore

Fantastic cocktails, food and friendly staff! Wonderful place for soccer fans and girls night out.

Happened to wander in here with a group of friends the other night and I was impressed. The food menu was a little sparse but everything we ordered was delicious and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning!

Great cocktails, beer selection, and lunch! And of course the UEFA Euros were fun to watch on the big flatscreens

The best cocktails on Hertel. The good is solid, and I'm hoping it gets back to it's pre-Covid food line up.

Call themselves a soccer bar but almost every night they are playing baseball, Nhl, basketball. An established brand that is a shadow of its former self. Before lockdowns this was the spot to watch ALL soccer games. The new workers are not up to par and none of them seem to know how to work a TV. Upgrade the internet, get more games playing, and fix that TV that seems to always be turned off.
