Yard is very large. Lots of room. No one in anyone's way. Easy to use yard. Prices on sheet iron is 70 bucks a ton. Shearing is 80 bucks a ton here. 7/28/2020. Filled my 1/2 ton and got 18 bucks. Don't be surprised when the sheet iron is worth less than u think. Scrap is at an all time low for many global reasons.

This junking spot is a little bit easier as far as weighing. You literally drive up on the scale, stop, they get your weight, you drive off to the pile, unload your stuff, drive back out on the opposite side, get your modified weight and then drive off so you can park and collect your cash. Very easy going and the workers are usually cool. You will literally only take 10 minutes at least with the whole process unless there are people ahead of you.

I like the prices. But I'm not so sure about your honesty. I dropped off bronze and copper for some reason it took half of my copper bucket and paid me bronze for it what is $0.70 a pound less

Relatively clean set up for being a scrap yard. Helpful employees and pay rates are comparable to any other scrap yard. Good spot for businesses to set up an account with if you deal with a lot of scrap as well.

Well they finally got rid of the guy who plays with his phone while you are waiting on the scales, I was happy for that, but now they are rounding down your change so they don't have to bother with coins. For example my total was $26.60, they handed me $26.00 The way I see it that is a bottle of water I could have bought.

I found the experience with their reps to be better compared to other providers in the area. Price competitive, easy to work with, trust worthy reps. It's a tough business with very fickle sellers. Metalico is the most consistent I have worked with. Employees are committed to owning and taking responsibility for their home market.

Was quoted a price per ton, the company dropped off their container. We began filling it only to have Metalico call the next day to tell me they were losing money on me. Took my minimum of 10 container loads to a different company. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE!

Today I went there with a used car part and they started to argue right away. I asked them to assess the part properly for weight and they called out a Manager named Ken who started to verbally abuse me. He threatened me and the Buffalo Police were called. Stay away from this business at all cost. Another employee off a dock was charged as well.

Very easy experience. First time at a junk yard and they helped me through it. You can see all the scale read outs and the prices were the highest I checked.
