12My experience here was great. I was helped my a lovely man named Johaun when I purchased a tablet and paid my monthly bill. He was fast and efficient and very personable.
Seems like an authorized dealer location with established crooks who worked there more than 2 years! They don't want to give you good deals here. Ad says 40 dollar plan and choice of free phone. Nope somehow it is 60 dollar plan + tax on prepaid? They request porting info when it is unnecessary to check qualification. Worst part is they ask for id so they can turn you down on available phones or mark you because the number I went in before no longer qualifies. Avoid this store and don't give id or port number till they verify there are phones cause they up wasting your time; over an hour wait here! They also put added charges like insurance and caller id and this is from the Hispanic manager that worked there for years! Yeah manager here says plan changes every day! So you can wait an hour and provide the same number that qualified a day before and id so they can change to higher prices next day!
They are cheated with me. Last month I took 4 phones with two accounts. They said from next billing period I can merge two accounts to one account. Yesterday I went to this store and one customer representative said that call to metro customer service. But i cannot call customer service for security issues. Unfortunately I live in upstate New York.
Now store representative said I have to go stire to solve this problem. Now how can i go to Jamaica from upstate New York.
Call in to get pricing on this promotion that I see online that is telling me that it’s only for the store level and the guy is being so lazy when I asked him for him to tell me about the promotion so I can come into the store prepared and he says that no we don’t get pricing on the phone that I have to come into the store. Well you’re going to lose a customer because I’m clearly asking you to give me information so I can come prepared because I’m not about to be doing that back-and-forth BS and the dude tells me to check online but online says called the store because it’s an in-store promotion but obviously someone doesn’t know how to do their job️️
Had to stand in line for almost 20mins just to be able to ask a very simple question. I almost got a ticket where i parked because i thought it shouldn't take me even 5 minutes to ask someone a question.
Be very careful of these guys. They sold me a used iphone 7 for the price of a brand new one. The phone still had the photos of the last person who used it.very dubious Indians.criminals!
Amazing customer service experience came for one phone Gary provided me with such a great deal that I walked out with 4 phones. Gary and Jinsel the assistant manager were very helpful setting up my phones and answering all my concerns. I would highly recommend to visit metro they have the best deals.
Worst customer service ever. The dealer near me told me to go to the corporate store in jamaica, but when I came here they told me the same thing the dealer had said. They were very unhelpful being a corporate store. I just needed something simple done. Waste of time. Don't waste your time here or with this company. I don't know why this corporate store continues to exist. Second bad experience here. Should've learned the first time.
Before coming here i was a bit skeptical because of the bad reviews i read but surprisingly my experience was the total opposite. The staff here are great. It is a very playful and friendly environment so people who aren’t young would probably see it as negative. The guy that helped me was great and very informative aside from his breath smelling like salt n vinegar trash. Overall my experience was excellent and i will definitely come to this location for the future Metro needs.
The staff is mad cool! All gamers! Tell them to buy Red Dead Redemption 2 so we can all play together!
I was there recently to buy a phone, but I was so disappointed, despite having 6 or seven people working on the floor I couldn't get helped, I approached one employee to get help but he said he was helping "someone" and he didn't even ask anyone to help me. I think this people need to be trained how to deal with customers.
I went in to get a replacement phone on 11/25/2018 at 6: 00 pm. My husband lost his phone, I was helped by young lady she helped me pick a phone she didn’t review the store policy didn’t tell me this was part of an upgrade, and it was considered a final purchase which was non refundable, after paying cash I walked out of the store thinking my husband would like the phone, which he didn’t, I walked back into the store 5 mins later to switch the phone, I was told I couldn’t by the supervisor Andrew, who was nasty not helpful at all he refused to give me the phone I wanted and a refund of my money, I was never treated like this before at any phone store, he was so unprofessional, didn’t try to solve my issues and had the rest of the staff cayle, yelling at me while I was trying to get him the supervisor at that time to address my situation. I was robbed by the supervisor of this store. I will try to contact head of corporate.
